Every contract that a member signs is with an "initial term" after that term is over, it becomes a month-to-monthThis means that they are no longer obligated to stay but must cancel on there ownThe gym does not cancel a membership unless member has put in the proper paperworkAll of this is explained in the paperwork signed by the individual

We are sorry for any delay but this issue has been resolved In our system if balances are paid that credit card will then be added to the systemThe CC was not being held hostage, we simply have no way of deleting the card unless billing is replaced with an alternateSince being notifed of the issue the membership was temporarily suspended so you would not have incurred any futher billing anyway If your boyfriend did not update his card, we would have cancelled the memberhsip and placed him in collectoins, none of which would have affected youWe see the credit card for the member has since been updated online The dues for December and January totaling have been charged to the updated visa CC and have been refuned to your [redacted] The [redacted] has been deleted from our system

On march 13th the customer joined a month contract term membership Customer filled out a request for account deactivation on 8/10/selecting relocation as the reasonThe request was reviewed on 8/11/and satisfactory proof of new residency was not supplied A message was left for the member on the telephone number supplied on deactivation form that same day and no response was receivedSubsequently this members account delcined payment fo august and a late charge was applied to which he left a message stating he will not pay unless the late fee was waived, this payment has since been madeA follow up call was made to the customer by manager Dan advising that the late fee cannot be waived and the account had not been cancelled due to unsatisfactory proof of relocation The customer said he does not have required proof of his move A this time the burdon of proof to terminate contract term falls entrily on the member, as stated on the phone directly to the complaining partyProof of relocatoin must be sent to the club or the member may pay out the contract term in order to cancel said account

I had a scheduled sale with *** *** , I told her that I would need additional time to get the job done and would Need access to the home early.On Saturday April 15th with truck loaded and driving the mile trip I thought I better call her, I called times and never received a voice
mail or answer.At this point I didn't know what to do, however the sale was in jeopardy of getting done at allstill no return call back?? I did receive a call the following day Easter Sunday as I was sitting down for supper with my yr old mother and it was *** unleashing a barrage of assorted lets say 'words" At this time I decided "per my contract" that River Valley would not be conducting her sale based on trust issues that she hadAs I spelled out very clearly in an email to *** I stated Starting out in a business relationship feeling it was OK to speak with someone the way she spoke to me I feel it was mutual for both parties to look elsewhere for her Estate Sale needs as for a refund?? There has been no business transactions between River Valley Estate Sales and *** *** Please Let me know If there is any more information that you might require Thank You Dennis ***River Valley Estate Sales

I am rejecting this response because:
I have caller ID and there were no calls from this person on any of my phone's We waited till noon that Saturday before we left the houseThere were no calls I trusted that he would show up as plannedI still have the contract he signed to be picked up when he showed up on Saturday

of permanent residence to a location more than 25 miles form the health club or affiliated health club offering the same or similar services and facilities at no additional charge to the buyer.  In a cancellation under this subsection, the health club may require proof of the new permanent residence and may retain a prorated share of the total contract price based upon the date the notice was received plus reimbursement for expenses incurred in an amount not to exceed 10% of the total contract price."Member is "allowed" to cancel as outlined in the agreement. No private or confidential information is required and any information of such nature in the provided documents may be excluded prior to submission.  Permanent proof of relocation is required.  Documents such as a magazine subscription is not acceptable. Members name and new address must be show on a documents such as a lease, Driver's license or other document "proving" residency.Cancellation documents are received and reviewed by the management team and acceptable proof must simply show the relocation of an individual. As soon as the request for cancellation is received as described we will promptly cancel this members agreement.
