Pre Paid River Valley Lawn Service for a year long fertilzing program with several add ons for ticks, insects etcMid April I called and inquiried when I would receive my Early Spring TreatmentPrevious company I used the last years, was always there first part of April or mid-AprilI was told soon but guaranteed no later than end of April but before MayOn May 1, no serviceI called and was told they hoped to be out, no later than end of follwing week, on or about 5/11/I stated this would not work for me and we mutually agreed to cancel service contract and refund my moneyOffice Manager, who I believe is owner's wife, said pay dept will issue checkAgain, in good faith, I gave them two weeks to refund moneyAfter three weeks, still no refundI called on 5/23/ and was told again, by office manager, she would look into itThey obviously have no intentions of refunding my money

Review: Received poor quality lawn treatment services - I would not recommend the services of River Valley Lawn Care - Owner [redacted] is a nice guy and makes promises but doesn't deliver or executes what he says. I chose to try them out this year - 1st application was done on Saturday, April 27th right before the rain (not good timing) - the weed killer washed off - called for follow-up as they instructed me to do - it took over a week to show up - it was at the end of the day - the technician said sorry I am out of enough spray to do this - it's been a bad day and we didn't anticipate all the other customer follow-up activity so we [redacted] have to come back. The technician called me later to tell me that they [redacted] get the weeds under control and would be applying a 2nd application - After the 2nd application on June 13th the weeds were worse - I tried contacting for a follow-up numerous times - [redacted] finally came out on Tuesday July 9th and said we would get to it this week but they didn't nor did they call - On Monday, July 15th I called [redacted] to tell him I was unsatisfied with their lack of service and don't bother to come back - however I indicated that I expected a refund for the 2nd treatment at which time I was told I received a good value. How is a lousy result and unfulfilled promises a good value - so if your thinking about using River Valley Lawn Care you should re-consider and use someone else
