Obviously there are two different takes on this entire situation I am sorry this didn't workI don't appreciate being called a liar, and simply producing a letter from an attorney doesnt prove that we received one (One would think that for over $to write a letter, the attorney would at least send it registered mailbut thats a matter between you and them)The facts are, you claimed you were owed $I (very honestly) disagreed with that, and refunded you $800, plus absorbed the close to $3,for the window, and doorAt that I consider this matter closedWarm regards,Mike

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Firstly I never told Mike C*** "Whatever" We repeatedly told him we realized the window and door would take longer as it needed to be ordered but we needed to have the rest of the work done as we had a painter coming At one point he told my husband that it would not be "cost efficient" to send someone out to finish the outside work We were not pleased to hear that Also, MrC*** put us off more than one day after the window and door came in We even waited until the date he said he would be free from the other job before contacting the Revdex.com hoping he would come and finish the job (My husband left a phone message expressing his wish that the work be finished before the painter was scheduled to start his work). My husband did, indeed, call Mike every hour telling him he would like to sit down like gentlemen and resolve their differences MrC*** never answered the phone I will be sending, via snail mail, the copy of the lawyer's letter to him and the lawyer's bill of $to disprove MrC*** lie that he never got a letter from our lawyer. We do not feel MrC*** should retain an A plus rating from the Revdex.com in light of his treatment of us
Sincerely,
*** & *** ***

I'd like to add we did receive a check for $

Obviously there are two different takes on this entire situation.  I am sorry this didn't work. I don't appreciate being called a liar, and simply producing a letter from an attorney doesnt prove that we received one (One would think that for over $400 to write a letter, the attorney would at least send it registered mail. but thats a matter between you and them). The facts are, you claimed you were owed $500. I (very honestly) disagreed with that, and refunded you $800, plus absorbed the close to $3,000.00 for the window, and door. At that I consider this matter closed. Warm regards,Mike

We quoted [redacted] on replacing some rotted window trim, a [redacted] door, and a window. There was confusion on what we were doing after they agreed to go to contract. I amended the contract to show they decided to replace the trim with wood instead of the PVC they originally requested....

[redacted] asked if there was a "better deal for cash" I explained there wasnt as costs are still costs.  He offered a $1500 deposit. Normally since there was a special order door, and window, I would have required more, but they seemed pretty solid once they made up their minds about the materials. We came and replaced a good portion of the window trim, I explained to [redacted] that the door would be 4-6 weeks, and I would schedule to install that the window, and finish the wood repairs when it arrived (no repairs were started, and left incomplete, every window the crew touched was completed). Her response was " sure thats fine, whenever".  About 2-3 weeks later the calls started, I explained it wasnt in yet. Once it came in I scheduled to return and complete, I was delayed a day due to some unforseen rot on a job I was on. I explained to [redacted] that I would be a day late, and I wouldnt leave the house I was working on incomplete, nor would I do that to him. He shouted, and hung up on me. I called back, he hung up on me. I called again, and asked that he please not hang up, he shouted, and at that time I thought it best we didn't complete the work. After telling him this, they called our number every half hour. The dollar amount as to what they say we completed is wrong. I calculate that we only completed $700 of repairs in accordance to the estimate. [redacted] have been refunded $800, and I ate the special order window and door. They have been more than compensated. No letter from an attorney was received by us.
