May 8th, [redacted] ***, Bureau ManagerRevdex.comNLocke AvenueFarmington, New Mexico 87401Reference: Incident concerning [redacted] To Whom It May Concern: On the early morning hours of March 19th, I was called on a routine call for New Mexico Title Loans to tow a vehicle that was parked illegally in the main parking lot of [redacted] ***The call came to me approximately 1:am , which at that time [redacted] is already closed I left from Espanola to Santa Fe, which took me minutes to hour to get there, the vehicle was still thereIt looked as if the vehicle was abandonedAs I drove in I put my emergency flashers on & backed up to the vehicle, at that time [redacted] approached me and said she was only parked there for a couple of minutes, and at that point I smelled alcoholI then advised her I received the call min to an hour prior to me getting there so I knew she had been there for more than a couple of minutesI also advised her she was parked illegally and I had authorization from [redacted] to tow her vehicle I also advised her at that time that if she had been drinking she could not drive, she told me that the gentleman that was with her would driveBy law, if an owner of a property calls for a vehicle to be removed from their property it is a legal tow, even if the service is not utilized The first mile hois $Ms [redacted] explained she only needed a boost because her battery was dead due to being parked for a long period of time with the radio and lights on inside the carI explained to her she needed to pay me for the call to tow, and I would boost her car and give her a set of cables in case she had additional trouble after she left where she was illegally parked Ms [redacted] paid me the $I boosted her car, gave her the cables and waited for her to leave the property.Before Ms [redacted] left the property she stated to me that her and her family owned or worked for a law firm, and that I would be regretting what had transpired.I feel that I did her a favor by not towing her vehicle to my property, and then would have had to charge her more She had a child with her, it was late at night and I felt sorry for her I was doing my job that I was called to do Sincerely, Eric R [redacted] dba Riveras Recovery, LLCMay 8th, [redacted] ***, Bureau ManagerRevdex.comNLocke AvenueFarmington, New Mexico 87401Reference: Incident concerning [redacted]
