Per my telephone conversation today with your representative, Mr [redacted] is not disputing any work done by our dental clinic In fact, all of his dental work was done at little or no charge to him as a spouse of one of our long-time employees He thinks he is owed money for a sleep study he had at our local hospital His dispute stems from a bitter divorce involving one of our long-term employees.Thank you for your consideration in this matter.Michelle A [redacted] , DMD

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Again, the issue is not being addressI acknowledge they performed a lot of discounted/free dental work, and I thanked them for itIt doesn't cover up the fact that the doctors offered to pay for my sleep study, with no guideline on timeliness, or requirementsI'm sure you understand why this was not forefront in my mind, with the divorce process being difficultI was reimbursement for what I paid for the sleep study Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The business is not addressing the issueDrA [redacted] constantly brings up the fact that I received dental care for little to no costI have thanked hem numerous times for their kindnessAt that time, I was also receiving little to no cost care at Willamette dental, but started going to riverbend dental to support my now ex-wife's place of employmentI did not know this would be something they would use against meThe whole point of this is, that I ended up paying for a sleep study I never wantedI did it because I was told it was free, and it would help the dentists outSo I agreed to help outDuring the process, the divorce happened, and now the doctors are refusing to reimburse me any amount of moneyAs doctors, they made a comittment to make ethical decisions for their patientsThey gave me a 30-day notice of termination on July 11th, therefore I am still a current patient, and have been during this entire desputeI just ask for a reimbursement and all of this will be done and over with Sincerely, [redacted]

After attending the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine conference the first week of June At the next staff meeting (June 2016) we offered to help pay for a sleep study for any interested staff or spouses and make them an oral appliance as part of our facility accreditation process He had a sleep study in October of and proceeded with CPAP treatment We never received notice of his sleep study, copies of the sleep study, or prescription for an oral appliance from the sleep physician He chose to go a different path with CPAP treatment He subsequently divorced our assistant in January They are in a bitter custody battle at this point.In May of he approached me during his daughter's cheappointment and aggressively pressed for payment of his sleep study I told him I would talk with my business partner, but I did not feel we had any obligation as he was no longer married to our staff member, had not provided the necessary documentation or followed through with treatment with us It was at this point he threatened with bad reviews and a Revdex.com complaint.We absolutely believe there is no obligation to reimburse him for his medical tests and treatment, as stated in our letter.Sincerely,Michelle A [redacted] , DMD
