I was given a gift card with reservations at your business for:

Due to unforeseen circumstances (medical condition w/spouse), I called on 19Jul19 to change my reservation mentioned above.
I talked to one of your employees (Ron) notifying him that we were not going to be able
to utilize the reservation and I requested to change it to 30Aug19. He told me that the
30Aug19 date was not available to be used with this gift card due to it being a holiday weekend.
That I need to pick another off-holiday day. I told him I would have to call back, he indicated as long as I called by no later than Tuesday, 23Jul19 it would be a no problem changing the reservation.
Today I called and the young man that answered my call flat out refused to help me, that it was company policy (no exceptions) to be made and that I was stuck with the above mentioned reservation (show or no show) - no refunds or change in reservation.
I am surprised that a business such as yours has strict policy that do not entertain situations such as
mine. Your business is visited by a high volume of military and civilian personnel every week and
this type of business practice does not look good.
Bottom line: All I want is to change my reservation to a different date and not lose out financially.
I have already resolved this gentleman’s dispute and moved his reservation to a future date

Ms. - good afternoon.Reference my complaint against Riverbend Hot Springs, the issue has been resolved.The Manager (Jake) emailed today and has made an exception to their policies and has allowed me to select a different date and approved my reservation for 2Nov19.He has been extremely concerned, apologetic and professional in resolving this issue.Fort Bliss military/civilians do a lot of business with them and I am glad to share my positive experience with others.Thank you for your quick response on this matter and look forward to visiting New Mexico!***Retirement Services OfficerSoldier for Life - Retirement Services
