Review: I applied for a property with being told my application fee could be refundable. I had no attempts of the realtors to meet me for my personal information. I drove by several times and called with minimal attempts to be contacted in return. I was told I was welcome to leave my pay stubs under a mat by the door while their porch was being replaced (in the rain). After the property being rented by another tenant I contacted them about my application refund with a response of they're were multiple ways I could have left my personal info outside of their business.Desired Settlement: $50 returned for my application fee.

The consumer is self-employed and in order to get the apartment, she was asked to provide documented support for the income she reported she makes. The office is open from 8:30-4:30 (M-Th) and 8:30-2:30 (F) so [redacted] feels her customer had ample opportunity to come into the office. The customer was told she could email or fax the documentation if that was easier for her. Approximately one month passed and she had not provided documentation of her claimed income. She had signed the lease with her boyfriend, but his income to debt ratio alone did not qualify them for the lease. That's why the business was asking for documentation of [redacted] income. After so many weeks went by without the documentation, the apartment was rented to someone else. Shortly after that happened, [redacted] called for the status of her application and was told the apartment had been rented. That is when she asked for a refund. The business does not give refunds after the credit history has been pulled. The policy was made clear verbally several times.
