7/10/Riverset Credit Union's response to ID [redacted] Member had a Checking and Savings account with Riverset since September Effective October 1, 2014, the fee schedule changed to include a $Low Balance Fee, later to be named Monthly Maintenance Charge in April This fee would be assessed to the Checking account, or Savings account if there was not an existing Checking account, monthly on the last day of the month if the account did not meet the following criteria: Average Aggregate Monthly Balance of $or greater, a Riverset loan product, IRA, CD, Money Market, or Savings Club accountNotification of this change begun in August via account statements, online banking, and our websiteThis member logged into her [redacted] account a total of eighteen times after the fee was assessedThe member agreed to receive e-statements via her email address on file agreed to in the terms and conditions that she acknowledged when accessing [redacted] for the first timeMember called in on 7/2/and spoke with a representative who explained the fee to herThe representative told her that her fee refund request would be reviewed by a manager and she would be contacted shortlyThe Branch Manager contacted the member by phone and explained how the foe was disclosed to the memberThe member asked to close her accountsBoth her checking and savings accounts were closed on 7-2-2015, A letter was mailed on 7-2-to confirm that the membership was closed including a check for the remaining balance of $

I  went into the office due to another overdraft fee occurrence. Right after the first 90 dollars. I was told by branch manager Michael, "that they we're only going to compensate me $60 back for the over draft for 10/10/2015 and a refund for $30 "being a great customer". As soon as I left, I called Ms. [redacted] and told her they gave me back $90 in order to resolve the Revdex.com.org case, but I told her on 10/10/15 ( I even attached my account from the two days of over-draft fees totaling $150) that they had token another $60. I'm not satisfied and when they were refunding the money for the "current day - 10/10/15" that I went in they knew exactly what they were doing to by pass this complaint. I filed a report to NCUA, but still haven't heard word from them either.

where a member is dissatisfied with the level of service received, Riverset works diligently to resolve the matter in a timely manner.We understand that life is unpredictable, which is why we offer multiple insurance products that members can purchase at very low cost to cover repayment of a loan should the unforeseen happen, preventing you from being able to make timely payments.  These products must be purchased upfront so that they can be included in the terms of the loan.  These services cannot be added in hindsight.To maintain privacy and confidentiality, Riverset Credit Union cannot disclose specific member issues, conversations, and resolutions.

Review: My husband and I refinanced with Riverset last year. A few weeks later my husband lost his job. We struggled, but made our payments to Riverset. When my husband still had not found a job almost 10 months later I called the credit union to discuss options. I asked if we could make bi-weekly payments, smaller installments or a longer term or try to refinance at a lower rate. I was told there was nothing they could do to help. In the following months we fell behind on our payments. At that point Riverset took to calling us 2-3 times a day. I spoke with at least 3 different agents asking for our loan to please be reviewed. Nothing was done. Finally we received an email advising if we did not catch up our payments our account would be sent to their lawyers. I immediately called the agent listed in the email and was told, after explaining to the agent our situation, in no uncertain terms that this was my problem and I should I have known better than to make no payments at all. I advised we would try to use our tax return to try to catch up. Nothing I said mattered, the multiple calls a day continued. When our tax return was too small to cover the amount Riverset was requesting I was told again that I should have known better and nothing could be done. My husband and I finally came up with enough money to pay us current minus $114 which was due by the end of March 2016 . We advised that the remaining $114 payment would be made current by the due date. Riverset continued to harass us by phone anyway, even having one of their loan officers call and discuss in clear detail where Riverset stood in relation to helping us as we had not ever been late to anyone else as per their review of our credit report. She stated that if Riverset was a priority we would not be in our situation, we should have used the money we had going to others to pay Riverset, suggested I get a 2nd job or trade in my car for something cheaper and advised that Riverset would not help simply because we clearly didn't know how to handle money. We were denied a loan modification. Even after we paid the account current Riverset advised us they will most likely still foreclose on us anyway.Desired Settlement: We want Riverset to stop treating people like this. We want others to know what happened to us and for them to be held responsible for their deplorable actions towards us as consumers.

Review: For over six months I have been requesting support with my account at Riverset Credit Union. Unfortunately, because of the lack of support I have been charged fees on my account. I have sent e-mails and made numerous phone calls. No one returns my phone calls or responds to my e-mails.Desired Settlement: Refund and acknowledgment of the horrendous costumer service.
