[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First of all, it says in the email, that when I called to speak with management, the management said, “They cannot do anything about it” I emailed Jessica A [redacted] later on after few hours to address the issue, and she posted the email communication after the incident Jessica offered the option of me working in the business office later on, I even mentioned in the email to Jessica why I was rejected the time this issue happened in the emailThey didn't care to take responsibility for their own mistake, the result is I was sick for days because of their own fault to notify construction done NEXT door Second, Jessica mentioned in her response that the noise I was hearing was due to floor being replaced in a unit near me, but it is Next door Third, Yes, when making loud noise and constructing floors next door, the business should notify residence about this issue because this is a how an ethical business practice should be (Considering that people will have migraine and sick due to construction next door) I explain to Jessica that I have migraine due to this situation but all she do is apologizeWhen I called about the situation, the office told me that they cannot do anything about itThe email she posted and offered is after the situation but she makes it look like she offered me a solution when it happens, when I called, which is a LIE Regards, [redacted]

management office haven't don't anything when told them the problemThis apartment without notifying me that there will be construction work next door start making Construction work, the noise was loud I was not able to work or even sit without loud construction noise affecting my head, I called the office and told them about the situation and there reply was that they didn't know I was going to be home/work at home and there is nothing they can do about it since the construction people is already working on itThis is very irresponsible, reckless way of doing businessI told them if they notify me that construction is going to be done next door, then I would have arranged not to be home but the management didn't care.Response: I have attached the correspondence of email between Jessica A***, General Manager of Riverside and *** *** from 11-25-when this noise was brought to management's attentionOther options were offered to *** *** at that time, due to her having a headache and trying to work from homeShe denied such options, as she was very upset that we didn't notify her previouslyHer desired outcome is denied at this timeThe noise she was hearing was due to floor being replaced in a unit near her during hours in which we are allowed to perform workWe don't notify residents as it isn't outside of operating hours and isn't lasting past such hoursNotice isn't required to make repairs in other unitsWe understand it caused disruption and tried to accommodates for *** *** needs while still operating a business and she refused.If planning to move out, she will be directed to her lease documents and asked to follow those guidelines to provide notice and all other items related to our move out processNo additional days will be granted, free of rent, Should you have any additional questions or concerns in regards to this response, please reach out to me directly.Thank you,Jessica A***General Manager, Riverside Apartments

Complaint: I have been in this apartment for almost 2 years now. I don't like to complain but I am reporting this problem because this has affected...

my health situation and the management office haven't don't anything when told them the problem. This apartment without notifying me that there will be construction work next door start making Construction work, the noise was loud I was not able to work or even sit without loud construction noise affecting my head, I called the office and told them about the situation and there reply was that they didn't know I was going to be home/work at home and there is nothing they can do about it since the construction people is already working on it. This is very irresponsible, reckless way of doing business. I told them if they notify me that construction is going to be done next door, then I would have arranged not to be home but the management didn't care.Response: I have attached the correspondence of email between Jessica A[redacted], General Manager of Riverside and [redacted] from 11-25-15 when this noise was brought to management's attention.
