Mr [redacted] purchased a homeowners insurance policy effective 09/01/ The ensuing inspection revealed an unacceptable breed of animal on the premisesThe insurance company issued a notice of cancellation effective 11/11/ Mrs [redacted] called the office to inquire about the cancellation and the agent that took the call tried to explain the cancellation and the process that would be necessary to either keep the policy, or let it cancel At this point, Mr [redacted] has options which were explained to Mrs [redacted] when she called as well as when she came to the office Remove the unacceptable animal from the premises and sign a letter indicating that the animal(s) have been removed (the letter was given to Mrs [redacted] when she came in to the office) This would keep the policy in force They can let the policy cancel on 11/11/2017, as scheduled, and receive a prorated refund(a prorated refund and full refund are different things.) They may purchase a replacement policy elsewhere and provide us with a copy of the declaration pageThe existing policy can be cancelled back to the effective date of the new policy and a prorated refund issued based upon that dateI apologize for any misunderstandings or any confusion about the processSincerely, [redacted]

and the agent that took the call tried to explain the cancellation and the process that would be necessary to either keep the policy, or let it cancel.  At this point, Mr. [redacted] has 3 options which were explained to Mrs. [redacted] when she called as well as when she came to the office.1.  Remove the unacceptable animal from the premises and sign a letter indicating that the animal(s) have been removed.  (the letter was given to Mrs. [redacted] when she came in to the office) This would keep the policy in force.2.  They can let the policy cancel on 11/11/2017, as scheduled, and receive a prorated refund. (a prorated refund and full refund are 2 different things.)3.  They may purchase a replacement policy elsewhere and provide us with a copy of the declaration page.
