I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Nothing was offeredI want out of my lease and to be honest I want Riverside Manor to pay my moving expenses as I would not be moving so soon if it were not detrimental to my son's healthRiverside Manor responded that they were treating for bugs, I asked to be let out of my leaseI do not want my child to suffer any longerI have a dr's note that he is allergic to Roaches and Roach danderWhy did they not address that issue? Ms*** moved into Riverside Manor Townhomes on 7-25-2015. This unit was vacated and inspected by our extermination company and we found no evidence of Roaches. Our Maintenance team also prepared the unit for Ms*** which took approximately 7-days and found no evidence of
Roaches. Immediately upon notification that she had an issue we scheduled the extermination company to come out and treat her unit, this was on August 5,2015. The very next day on August 6th we had the extermination company treat the unit and informed her she would be placed on the list for treatment each week until the problem was resolved. Ms*** has been treated times since then on August 6th, 13th and 20th . We are continuing to monitor the situation until the issue is resolved and her problem has been taken care. I have communicated with her on numerous occasions to let her know that her concerns are a priority and that we will make every effort to resolve the matter to her satisfaction.*** ***

Review: I signed my lease on July 25, I could not have my furniture delivered until Friday July 31, so we did not move in until that day. There were a few minor things wrong that are ok to deal with, However, one major thing. Roaches... I started seeing roaches when I walked in the kitchen after the lights had been off, they would scatter. Big, small, tons of them. I called the rental office, and [redacted] and the [redacted] lady met me at our townhouse the next day. The [redacted] lady explained that they can treat the bugs and it wasn't a big deal and that the bugs could have come in via a bag or box.. I knew that wasn't the case as I have never had roaches. So they sprayed, the next day I saw tons more, half dead, dead and live. Over the next week, I killed maybe 30 roaches, then they came to spray again. More and more bugs continue to surface. I talked to my neighbor who said he had the same issue when he moved in and that eventually he stopped seeing them. Well, my issue is I have a 5 year old that is allergic to roach dander, he is currently under treatment with his allergist. he has been sick since we moved in this home. I have bombed myself. I am now seeing bugs come from under the kitchen floor. I think maybe a new floor was put down prior to us moving in and the bugs are under it. I haven't been able to cook in my kitchen since I moved there. I am a single mom of 4 paying $1375 for rent and I have to purchase find other means to feed my children. I refuse to cook in a roach infested kitchen. I have brand new furniture, I am afraid the roaches will lay eggs in it and I will take them with me when I leave also. I have spoken to the regional manager [redacted] who was rude and told me she was not going to offer me another unit and basically deal with the roaches even though it could kill my son. Allergies are very serious and I explained this to her. I have called and written [redacted] and after 3 weeks I get a call back saying someone will call me.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my lease ended asap. I am paid through 8-31-15 and I want to be able to move out and get my deposit back and no penalties on my credit.

A review I saw after I signed the lease. The issue is not resolved. I am still living in a roach infested townhome and expected to pay $1375 a month for rent and live with these roached. Nothing has been resolved. I have pictures and videos of roaches crawling.
