On 06/06/customer purchased a 50cc scooter from our storeCustomer was told the speeds a 50cc scooter can reach (being
20-mph to 40mph)However, speeds the scooter will reach vary based upon size of the rider and terrain the scooter is being ridden onThe customer was offered a warranty, which he refused, and was given a receipt with the stores return policy of all sales final without the purchase of a warranty clearly listedThe customer returned to our store days later after putting over miles on the scooter complaining of issues with the scooter and was made aware of the location of the original scooter distributorCustomer took the vehicle to that location to have any issues resolvedWe were originally informed that all issues ad been fixed but later found out that it would be an additional $to fix all issuesAlthough the store was under no obligation to provide any reimbursement due to the lack of warranty and the vehicle being used for over miles, we offered to cover the cost of all repairs in full to ensure customer satisfactionCustomer was not pleased with this solution and demanded a full refundUnfortunately, this was not an option for the store manager due to the lack of warrantyThe customer began to get irate, yelling, cursing, and threatening physical violence to the store managerAccording to store policy our employee returned to the building to call law enforcement for assistanceThe customer left before law enforcement arrived leaving the scooter in our possessionWe had the scooter repaired and have called the customer and left several voicemails for him to come pick up his repaired scooter with no return communication from the customerAlthough the police were contacted, no employee contacted the customers employerThe customer did arrive to our location driving a postal truck, and a customer in the store commented on this gentleman representing the US Postal Service in a very unprofessional manner, to which he was told to mind his own business by the customer, so it is possible that could be the source of any contact to the customers employer
