Riverside Saloon and Steakhouse

We have two different kinds of chicken here at the Riverside Saloon and Steakhouse One is breaded, like our piece chicken dinner and chicken wings, and the other is beer battered, like our chicken strips These are both family recipes enjoyed and handed down for many generations It clearly states on our menu that the chicken strips are beer battered, not breaded Miss [redacted] said to her server and to one of the owners that she thought the chicken strips would be more like the fried chicken We have only been open for months In that time orders of chicken strips have been ordered and eaten without a single complaintWe have several guests who drive many miles to enjoy the same chicken strips We are very sorry Miss # [redacted] was not happy with what she ordered She was offered a to go box to take her food home She did not want to take it with her so after we inspected it to make sure it was our usual quality product, it went in the garbage in the kitchen In the short paragraph that Miss # [redacted] wrote she stated that she had not eaten any of her chicken strips She must have tried some or how would she know that they were quote "horrible" She also said that she was "not once asked if she needed anything else or if her dinner was ok" In the very next sentence she said "finally when she did come over and ask how it was, I told her" So really her server did ask her if everything was ok Our point of sale shows that the server was at that table at least seven times and Miss # [redacted] herself said the server did indeed ask her how things were Please take time to look at our ratings on [redacted] and see that there are only two people who have given us one star and both reviews came in one shortly after the other, from the same table Everyone else has given stars and a few stars The other people joining them that evening, enjoyed the four piece fried chicken dinner and left a seven dollar tip for the same server We do our absolute best to please every single one of our guests at the Riverside Saloon and Steakhouse We cook things the way we like them and the way we grew up eating them We also realize that not everyone is going like everything that we do We are very sorry Miss [redacted] did not like what she ordered We did give her a 20% discount on her meal We thought we had dealt with and concluded the issue in a professional manner Miss [redacted] and the other guests at her table stayed after their meal and enjoyed beverages and karaoke that evening and seemed satisfied and happy We are very sad she was disappointed in her choice from our large menu

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:It is mostly false in regards to my experience at the restaurant.  As stated, when she came to ask if everything was ok, I told her it wasn't. They took the food to the kitchen and after, offerede to take it home and cook it longer, to which I declined. I shouldn't have to cook food more.myself to make it edible.  I did overstate when I said I didn't have any of the chicken. I did have one bite. Also we did not stay at the restaurant for beverages or karaoke, so that is completely false. We were so unhappy with how we were treated we immediately left.
