Based upon the information listed above we would like to respond: the work was completed the day the parts arrived in our office. We did not notify the owner at that time because the receptionist "***" was in the facility and the keys were turned into her at the time. We
handle literally hundreds of keys each year and have never lost or misplaced a key since our inception years ago. I have spoken with *** on a couple of occasions regarding this and did tell him we left the key in the mailbox, but after speaking with the technician, determined that there were people outside the building at the time he completed and felt it would be more secure to take the key in and give it to the receptionist. The same locks are on the building a year after the keys were "lost" However, in the best interest of all we have contacted a locksmith and will offer to pay for the re-keying of the lock and will provide keys as soon as the invoice has been paid in full
