Revdex.com regarding case ***. We have been trying to reach Ms** ** *** regarding the misunderstanding in our office for about a week now via email and the number she left in our office file ***. The contacts that she was requesting are in the process according to what we are told by the manufacturer are in the process of being phased out but are still available. Some of the products by freshlooks have already been discontinued such as the toric colors . The prescription is valid for a year but if the manufacture discontinues it in the middle of the year it puts the patients and the provider in a very difficult position. The patient cannot purchase anymore and have to get revaluation for different brands etcthus have to pay. The provider tried to provide the best product for the health of the eye. Freshlooks are not the best in terms oxygen content, moisture and patients have many more complications with that brand. Patients sometimes may not be aware of the risks of complications until it's to lateThe same manufacturer knows this and therefore are providing a better alternative color contact -better for the health of the eye. Resolution - very simply we can get her the contacts she needs the same brand with the understanding it may be phased out if not not a problemAlso with the understanding they are not the best for the health of the eyes. If it is phased out we can give her the new version of the same color contact at no additional cost. We are even willing to to the extra step for our payient and provide her a month supply of contacts at no cost because of the misunderstanding provided she removes her star review from ***. The only problem at this time is we cannot get in touch with the patient. Please have her call us at 281-240-please ask for Justine. Please help us in resolving this concern Thanks DrJ***
