RJ Management took over our community from another management group. Since the takeover, everything has gone very smoothly. I set up automatic payment on their website for my HOA dues and have had zero issues. I set it up once and can forget about having to remember every month to pay. Their rates are very fair when compared to other community management groups.
Bob has always conducted phone calls in a very professional manner. Would recommend for new communities or communities who are unhappy with their current management group.

This has to be one of the worst management companies I have ever dealt with. Initially, when my husband and I moved into our home, another entity was in charge of collecting our homeowner dues. RJ Community Management shortly took over and we continued to receive monthly statements regarding our homeowner dues. We always paid on time, never had a missed or multiple missed payments. In January of this year, I did not receive a statement from this company and even told my husband that I thought it was odd that I didn't receive a statement. In February, I received a statement and it indicated that my January and February payment were due, and they were charging me a late fee. I called the company to discuss this, and they agreed to waive the late fee, but informed me that I would just need to randomly send them a monthly check, as they were no longer doing statements or coupon books. The guy on the phone, who happened to be the owner, rudely stated that I could PURCHASE a coupon book. So, after paying your company a monthly fee, you want me to PURCHASE a coupon book? How am I supposed to keep track and record of my payments without an invoice, statement, or coupon book? Well, I was told again I could PURCHASE the coupon book or use alternative methods of payment, like an online payment. Neither of the options presented give me a reminder to make my payment OR a record of payment made. The owner just hung up on me, without regard to my thoughts about how he was double-dipping in his business conduct. Pretty sure a portion of the homeowner dues that I pay for, pay for his service.
I did send a check today for January and February, with a letter that the payment is NOT to be used toward any late fees. In the event that they choose not to remove the late fee, I will be filing a Complaint with the Revdex.com. In addition, my letter clearly indicated that after EVERY payment, I want a receipt. Again, should I not receive any receipts, I will be filling a Complaint with the Revdex.com. I am entitled to a statement and a receipt WITHOUT being charged. Oh, by the way- it is the LAW that I am entitled to a receipt after payment.
If I could possibly give this company any lower of stars, I absolutely would. Terrible to deal with, and you better believe that I will be letting my Board of Directors know.

These statements are inaccurate, do not reflect the truth of what occurred, and do not represent our company. Our office offered to waive any late fees on complainant’s account and to resend payment options to her. Complainant ended the call with our office after expressing her displeasure with the options presented.

Each owner received a Welcome Packet which clearly described payment options and that monthly dues statements will no longer be provided to owners. This was a Board decision to help save the community money, however several free payment options are available to all owners. It each owner’s responsibility to track payments and make sure they are made in a timely manner.
