Review: RJH came out to inspect some restaurant equipment and AC/heating unit I was about to purchase with the building. They told me an official inspection report would be given the next day but didn't come out until a week later (after I had already closed on the building and its equipment). They also stated that the AC and heating unit was in working condition and in good operational order. The day after I closed on the building I tried to turn on the AC but nothing was coming out. I decided to go with another company to fix the problem because I had to call RJH repeatedly after the inspection to get a report. They gave me every BS statement they could think of. Example the tech is out with a eye problem, the report is tied to payroll, we are working on it right now (but a days later still no report). It turned out the motor was bad on one of the units and a board was bad on the other unit. The company said this was easily something RJH should have picked up. Also I was charged for 45 minutes worth of time while the tech sat in his car to write a bill up. The invoice paper takes no where near 45 minutes at $128 per hour to fill out, more on the 5 minutes top. RHJ also charged my credit card with out authorization. I asked them not to and they went ahead and charged it.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the extra 40 minutes the tech sat in his car. I would also like to be compensated for the time the tech inspected the AC units and didn't find any problems with them, even though there was 2 major problems that cost over $700 to fix. I was charged 480 for time of inspection. I which maybe a hour of it was to inspect to hood system which was working fine. So I would like to be refunded 352 for waste of time (sitting in the car) and poorly inspection.
