[redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As you can see from ***'s response he is now offering less then he initially promised $vs $ At another point he offered $ The initial $was rejected because at the time I believe that the aggravation and frustration RJT made my wife and I deal with in regards to timeline delays, dirt, garbage, broken rails, stains from both paint and floor were worth more then that It is still absurd that [redacted] seeks to profit We have itemized bills for all costs incurred to rectify the issues noted Here is a list of repairs: - Cleaning for all dust, garbage, paint and stain left all over the home - AC unit inspection (due to running unit while sanding the floor) - AC duct cleaning (due to running unit while sanding the floor) - laminate flooring repair (Due to slashed ebony staining and failure to use even simple preventative measures such as drop cloths) - Rail repair (with this I am also including veterinary bills for my dog falling stories) They remove balusters and broke the rail without any consultations or approval and failed to repair This was a code violation and was a safety hazard - stair repair (is the blotched attempt by [redacted] to "fix" an existing p***lem) the other is the way his floor guys sanded or scraped the stairs - Additional coating of poly: [redacted] may say we rejected a third coat but this was based on his advice by him that it was not needed We also have documentation that it was safe to walk and move in one day after poly was applied Not once did [redacted] inform us that it would take much longer then that for poly to set and we should under no circumstance move furniture (even on felt pads) around the floor We discovered that a third and even a fourth coat of poly is minimum that should be applied and is usually standard practice This all totaled up to more then $or $that [redacted] is currently offering I will proceed with the licensing board/attorney general prior to moving this to a courtroom if we do not come to an agreement here I believe there were code violations, poor or a complete lack of management and a general lack of regard for any quality [redacted]

I am very sorry to hear that [redacted] is so dissatisfied with my services although it is interesting to me that based on the many reviews he has posted they each vary in his complaints I admit that the job did not go as smoothly as I or he would have liked, and that is unfortunate I have attempted to settle this dispute with him several times and each time has been rejected Originally he was asking for $4,and I offered him $2,which was much more than I am responsible for but was willing to give it to him to come to a resolution As a business owner my main goal is to have satisfied customers and more than 90% of my work comes from referrals My $2,offer was rejected I recently have offered him $1,which is still generous because I would love to resolve this issue and again has been rejected Based on this review I would like an itemized list of why he is entitled to $2,and if they are legitimate claims I will be happy to reconsider As a side note to the review I have written documentation that I offered to put coats of polyurethane on the floors but it would take additional time and [redacted] declined the 3rd coat

[redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: As you can see from [redacted]'s response he is now offering less then he initially promised $1500 vs $2500.  At another point he offered $1000.  The initial $2500 was rejected because at the time I believe that the aggravation and frustration RJT made my wife and I deal with in regards to timeline delays, dirt, garbage, broken rails, stains from both paint and floor were worth more then that.  It is still absurd that [redacted] seeks to profit.  We have itemized bills for all costs incurred to rectify the issues noted.  Here is a list of repairs:
- Cleaning for all dust, garbage, paint and stain left all over the home
- AC unit inspection (due to running unit while sanding the floor)
- AC duct cleaning (due to running unit while sanding the floor)
- laminate flooring repair (Due to slashed ebony staining and failure to use even simple preventative measures such as drop cloths)
- Rail repair (with this I am also including veterinary bills for my dog falling 2 stories).  They remove balusters and broke the rail without any consultations or approval and failed to repair.  This was a code violation and was a safety hazard.
- stair repair (1 is the blotched attempt by [redacted] to "fix" an existing p[redacted]lem) the other is the way his floor guys sanded or scraped the stairs.
- Additional coating of poly:  [redacted] may say we rejected a third coat but this was based on his advice by him that it was not needed.  We also have documentation that it was safe to walk and move in one day after poly was applied.  Not once did [redacted] inform us that it would take much longer then that for poly to set and we should under no circumstance move furniture (even on felt pads) around the floor.  We discovered that a third and even a fourth coat of poly is minimum that should be applied and is usually standard practice.
This all totaled up to more then $1000 or $1500 that [redacted] is currently offering.
I will proceed with the licensing board/attorney general prior to moving this to a courtroom if we do not come to an agreement here.  I believe there were code violations, poor or a complete lack of management and a general lack of regard for any quality.

That is fine, I would be happy to get a mediator involved.  My goal is to have this situation resolved, please propose a mediator and lets get the process started.

I am very sorry to hear that [redacted] is so dissatisfied with my services although it is interesting to me that based on the many reviews he has posted they each vary in his complaints.  I admit that the job did not go as smoothly as I or he would have liked, and that is unfortunate.  I have...

attempted to settle this dispute with him several times and each time has been rejected.  Originally he was asking for $4,000 and I offered him $2,500 which was much more than I am responsible for but was willing to give it to him to come to a resolution.  As a business owner my main goal is to have satisfied customers and more than 90% of my work comes from referrals.  My $2,500 offer was rejected.  I recently have offered him $1,500 which is still generous because I would love to resolve this issue and again has been rejected.  Based on this review I would like an itemized list of why he is entitled to $2,500 and if they are legitimate claims I will be happy to reconsider.  As a side note to the review I have written documentation that I offered to put 3 coats of polyurethane on the floors but it would take additional time and [redacted] declined the 3rd coat.
