Review: Ordered a front window with fixed window in center and two casement windows on the side...total price including tax and delivery was $1062. Window as received had right casement window unable to open whatsoever and left window, once opened unable to close properly...windows appeared misaligned, with spacing between window frame and unit uneven....fairly unhelpful on phone, with unreturned calls, until finally a woman said "just come here." Once there, they insisted their windows are perfect and it must be an installation problem; when we pointed out that it could not be installed because right casement window wouldn't even open, it did not sway them, insisting it must be our fault b/c their windows never have problems. Never spoke to anyone in charge, they all hid behind closed door while girls dealt with us. Finally, agreed to send a guy to location but threatened $250 fee if he would prove it was "our" fault and not theirs.

Next day, two me arrived, and saw the window did not work. Ignored our requests for a new frame, tried to "fix" it on site. Main guy insisted he could straighten window that would not close and proceeded to shatter the glass. Of course the story changed that there was no "straightening" whatsoever and that glass shattered because apparently these things happen. [redacted] of business on phone was unresponsive to our insistence the frame was faulty, and the guys he sent immediately stopped talking completely after speaking on phone with him. They brought new pain of glass and put it in, and then proceeded to demand $250 dollars.

Upon "repair," The right casement window continued to not close properly, and someone has to actually go outside and press window in with hand for us to lock it --- it is clearly misaligned at some level. The left (the one that shattered) does close (not easily) and has clear aesthetic and operational defects (dent, etc.)....we did not pay the $250 dollars as they could not coherently explain how any of this was our fault. It had reached the point that as the right window was not closing properly they just said "it's fine" and "that's the way it is." They left without further incident without being paid.Desired Settlement: This is not a $1062 window at any level, and the bizarre efforts to not be held responsible for anything, insisting it was our "installation" (when it had not been installed yet), and poor customer service was rather disturbing. They had been paid in cash, and I suspect if we had paid with credit and could easily stop payment they (perhaps) might have treated us with less contempt. The window is not working properly, and we don't trust the frame one bit. Either repair, replacement, or money back would be a necessity for any type of satisfactory customer service.
