RL & Associates Reviews (11)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI would like to accept the offer to receive the $refundThey are correct, I didn't read the fine print before clicking to accept and that is my fault, but the receipt I received via e-mail didn't state anything about the $charge and that's the only email I readI really just wanted to read the book before committing to any membership Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I never authorized the $charge in the first place Here's how this works: I purchased a book for $I checked to make sure there was no fine print obligating additional purchases - there was not After that approved $purchase, the website brings up pop-ups with the add on products (expedite shipping for $xx upgrade to an ebook for $xxetc) I declined ALL add ons I hit escape and exited to ensure that I did not approve the additional charges It wasn't until I received my bank statement that I noticed the additional unauthorized charges You have to read the book to use the website - and since I didn't upgrade to ebook, I didn't even receive the book until way after the "day trial"!! It is entirely deceptive practice For a company that touts accuracy and honesty, this is no way to show itAll I want is my refund I didn't use their crappy website program I demand a refund Thank you Regards, [redacted]

Customer [redacted] received a copy of our book "ASK" for FREE back in January of 2015. She has not purchased anything else from us using her name or email since then. I do not know what the Revdex.com complaint is in regards.
This webinar we've been contacted about was an "Affiliate...

Webinar" -- which explains why the speaker of the webinar was someone outside of our company. We do not handle payments or memberships for ClickFunnels and do not have authorization to grant free lifetime access. All details regarding price are provided on order form by ClickFunnels directly as they handle the orders, the sales, and all customer service. Our company held the "Affiliate Webinar" and it was disclosed as an affiliate promotion in our emails. Our company does not collect any payment from customer [redacted].

Customer has been fully refunded. I've attached the terms and conditions the customer agreed to when placing their order. The option to cancel the membership was open for 7 days. Customer did not request to cancel membership until after charge. The two emails and order receipt that mentioned these...

terms were not opened by the customer either.

I am rejecting this response because:I never authorized the $97 charge in the first place.  Here's how this works:  I purchased a book for $4.95. I checked to make sure there was no fine print obligating additional purchases - there was not.   After that approved $4.95 purchase, the website brings up pop-ups with the add on products (expedite shipping for $xx.  upgrade to an ebook for $xx. etc).    I declined ALL add ons.  I hit escape and exited to ensure that I did not approve the additional charges.  It wasn't until I received my bank statement that I noticed the additional unauthorized charges.  You have to read the book to use the website - and since I didn't upgrade to ebook, I didn't even receive the book until way after the "7 day trial"!!  It is entirely deceptive practice.  For a company that touts accuracy and honesty, this is no way to show it. All I want is my refund.  I didn't use their crappy website program.  I demand a refund.  Thank you.
