You sold me a car with the following undisclosed defects;Cracked windshiledBusted motor mountsCrack in the plastic seat cushionBody damage by the rear wheel, driver sideIrremovable concrete glued onto all wheel housingsDefective rear view cameraDefective blind spot system, both modules have to be replacedDead batteryThe vehicle is still in the shop, being examined, as they are trying to figure out what is the constant knockingnoise from under the car as you drive it Seller's claim that all those repairs are made up, is simply preposterousI have provided the seller with written estimates, from an Audi Dealer, to prove that all those repairs are necessary and I will be happy to share them with the Revdex.com upon request The files are too large to upload

We are very sorry about any misunderstanding with the customer I have spoken with Mr [redacted] who was the customer's salesman He remembers the transaction and indeed said the damage was not major He did tell the customer that he would make an effort to have CARFAX change the tone of the damage report but could not guarantee that He said the effort was made but was not able to accomplish any changing of that report This was explained at the time of delivery and the acknowledge the blemish on the CARFAX report If there were any issues with the driveability or cosmetics I know that we would have addressed that at delivery or for a short period of time after the purchase We appreciate our customer's patronage but feel that we were upright in our dealing and the customer was aware of minor repair work which had been done to the vehicle While we did make an effort to work with CARFAX as we stated we simply were not able to affect a change with them

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstanding regarding this vehicle Ms [redacted] is indeed a good customer of RLB and we have always made every attempt to sell her quality vehicles I spoke with [redacted] who remembers the deal well He said that they were all aware of paintwork as noted in the CARFAX report and that he told her it did not appear to be major damage and that they would put in a request to see if they CARFAX report could be updated to be of less dramatic in the rollout but had no promises or guarantees I can tell you that CARFAX reports can only be changed with documentation to support any kind of changes I have attached the copy of the CARFAX which Ms [redacted] signed and was aware of at the time of purchase which has now been almost years ago We always go the extra mile to satisfy any customer who has an issue with a vehicle however making a claim of rattles or moisture in the taillight years after purchase might be a little presumptuous Had she had a problem even a few months after delivery we would have been more than happy to make necessary adjustments or corrections to assure proper fit and operationI do not know how many miles have been put on the car since purchase but again while we are happy to work with her, she is no longer here for us to do that I am not personally involved in this transaction but even as an outsider I am taken aback that we are just now hearing of any problems with the vehicle The time frame since purchase has been excessive and I feel we are at a disadvantage to be helpful with the customer being so far away from us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I responded too quickly the first time because I was angry with their response of me waiting years to bring this to their attention when in fact, I had been bringing it to their attention over the past yearsWhen I opened their attachment showing the car fax, I noticed it was not signed and the initials are not in my hand writingI can send a copy of my drivers license or any other documentation showing, that is definitely not my hand writingI didn’t remember signing the car fax but since they said I did, I trusted their wordI was never told that the carfax couldn’t be clearedI was never notified that they were unable to clear itI did all the contacting and I was always told, they dropped the ball or someone would get back with me and no one didI was told they never buy wrecked vehicles and their buyer is very experienced and researches everything before he buysI would not have purchased this car had I known it had been wrecked and I would have issues with it down the roadI can’t get a reasonable trade in because of the carfax Regards, [redacted]

Mr *** sent photos of a very small crease on the lower rocker panel and a plastic trim piece that was crackedI immediately responded and said I would pay to repair the crease and replace the moldingI have been awaiting a repair estimate in order to pay those chargesSeveral days later he
drummed up additional alleged repair items which are simply not trueWe are committed to customer satisfaction and always do the right thing I will repair those items as I stated In his paperwork he signed a due bill that allows hours to address any issues He has taken several weeks to now come up with other alleged needed repairs and not even provided any proof of these alleged issuesThis does not comply with our policies and we will not be railroadedWe are happy to pay for the items as Mr*** requested

I am sorry but it became clear that this seller is dishonest The seller has just proven that he has no intention to fix all the broken componants which he claimed IN WRITING to be in perfect condition. It is the seller who is the opportunistic that "dumps" defective cars on unsuspecting long distance buyers all while making statements and promises knowing that it would be diffculit for a long distance buys to challange what's sometimes described as "wear and tear"(which is any dishonest seller's way out of liability) However, this is not such case; the selle's email to me clearly states that hedrove the car for SEVERAL DAYS and that its in perfect condition One doesn't have to be a used cars salesman in order to hear the constant noise the car is making when one drives itFurthermore; You can't dispute the Audi Service repair report which doesn't include the cracked windshield, body damage and several other items; Heated seats don't work, rear window defroster doesn't work and It looks like more will be revleaed Moreover, I will pay for the seller's round trip ticket to Los Angeles so that he could show me how perfect this car was before he shipped it to me The seller's rediculous offer of $350, would be less than 1/of what the repairs would cost Unless the seller can prove otherwise, it has been established (in writting and by true professionals) that he has grossly and fraudulently misrepresented the condiiton of this vehicle and therefore he should be subjected to pay for the all those repairs

*** *** The only misrepresantion regarding the vehicle was and is done by the seller I have documentation and estimates from Audi Service and body shops, as proof. It's simple to prove that the gross misrepresantation, by the seller, is fraudulant The vehicle was sold, to me, with the following undisclosed defects;Cracked windshiledBusted motor mountsCrack in the plastic seat cushionBody damage by the rear wheel, driver sideIrremovable concrete glued onto all wheel housingsDefective rear view cameraDefective blind spot system, both modules have to be replacedDead batteryThe vehicle is still in the shop, being examined, as they are trying to figure out what is the constant knockingnoise from under the car as you drive it

This site crashes every time I try and upload my documents that reflect Mr T***'s mirepresantation of the vehicle's condition, the estimate to repair mechanical and electronic componants as well as an estimate to repair the undisclosed body damage. The only resolution I will accept is a reimbursment of the cost of the repairs

We are very sorry about any misunderstanding with the customer.  I have spoken with Mr. [redacted] who was the customer's salesman.  He remembers the transaction and indeed said the damage was not major.  He did tell the customer that he would make an effort to have CARFAX change the tone of the damage report but could not guarantee that.  He said the effort was made but was not able to accomplish any changing of that report.  This was explained at the time of delivery and the acknowledge the blemish on the CARFAX report.  If there were any issues with the driveability or cosmetics I know that we would have addressed that at delivery or for a short period of time after the purchase.  We appreciate our customer's patronage but feel that we were upright in our dealing and the customer was aware of minor repair work which had been done to the vehicle.  While we did make an effort to work with CARFAX as we stated we simply were not able to affect a change with them.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstanding regarding this vehicle.  Ms [redacted] is indeed a good customer of RLB and we have always made every attempt to sell her quality vehicles.  I spoke with [redacted] who remembers the deal well.  He said that they were all aware...

of paintwork as noted in the CARFAX report and that he told her it did not appear to be major damage and that they would put in a request to see if they CARFAX report could be updated to be of less dramatic in the rollout but had no promises or guarantees.  I can tell you that CARFAX reports can only be changed with documentation to support any kind of changes.  I have attached the copy of the CARFAX which Ms. [redacted] signed and was aware of at the time of purchase which has now been almost 2 years ago.  We always go the extra mile to satisfy any customer who has an issue with a vehicle however making a claim of rattles or moisture in the taillight 2 years after purchase might be a little presumptuous.  Had she had a problem even a few months after delivery we would have been more than happy to make necessary adjustments or corrections to assure proper fit and operation. I do not know how many miles have been put on the car since purchase but again while we are happy to work with her, she is no longer here for us to do that.  I am not personally involved in this transaction but even as an outsider I am taken aback that we are just now hearing of any problems with the vehicle.  The time frame since purchase has been excessive and I feel we are at a disadvantage to be helpful with the customer being so far away from us.

Every email he sends he adds more and more items to a fictitious repair list.  The car is 100% as it was described except for 2 very minor items mentioned in previous emails. He has attacked my character and integrity and I will not have it.  I have 40 years in this business and maintain an impeccable reputation.  We have contacted the customer to allow us to pick the car up and refund his purchase.

The customer has misrepresented the alleged problems with the vehicle.  We will again contact him to try to rectify the situation but may well have the car returned to us and refund the purchase.

I am rejecting this response because:I responded too quickly the first time because I was angry with their response of me waiting 2 years to bring this to their attention when in fact, I had been bringing it to their attention over the past 2 years. When I opened their attachment showing the car fax, I noticed it was not signed and the initials are not in my hand writing. I can send a copy of my drivers license or any other documentation showing, that is definitely not my hand writing. I didn’t remember signing the car fax but since they said I did, I trusted their word. I was never told that the carfax couldn’t be cleared. I was never notified that they were unable to clear it. I did all the contacting and I was always told, they dropped the ball or someone would get back with me and no one did. I was told they never buy wrecked vehicles and their buyer is very experienced and researches everything before he buys. I would not have purchased this car had I known it had been wrecked and I would have issues with it down the road. I can’t get a reasonable trade in because of the carfax.

The buyer continues to write you and we have been crystal clear that we are more than happy to refund his purchase or repair the 2 items he had on his list at delivery.  The buyer has given us good reason to believe he is an opportunist and simply seeking to extort money from us.  The best resolution we can come up with is to have the car picked up and return his money.

[redacted]  Selling a car is this condition, without disclosing it's defects, is an insult to any unsuspecting buyer. I have "piled up" nothing,  It is you who piled up many expenses on me and caused me 2 weeks of loss of work and lots ofaggravation.  The fact remains that you sold me a car with many defectes and did not disclose the truth when I asked you specific questions in writting.  Any reputable dealership that gets a trade in, inspects the car and put it back on the market after necessary repairs/service have been performed.  Your dealership has done none of that!   You sold me a car with the following undisclosed defects;1. Cracked windshiled2. Busted motor mounts3. Crack in the plastic seat cushion4. Body damage by the rear wheel, driver side5. Irremovable concrete glued onto all 4 wheel housings6. Defective rear view camera7. Defective  blind spot system, both modules have to be replaced8. Dead batteryThe vehicle is still in the shop, being examined, as they are trying to figure out what is the constant knockingnoise from under the car as you drive it.
Seller's claim that all those repairs are made up, is simply preposterous. I have provided the seller with written estimates, from an Audi Dealer, to prove that all those repairs are necessary and I will be happy to share them with the Revdex.com upon request.  The files are too large to upload.
