& his crew came out to my house to build a custom gazebo in my backyard. Not only was this done in a timely manner, they worked through the hot hot hot weather to make sure it was done in the timeframe promised as I had an event happening at my house and needed it done ASAP. I have recommended this company for many other jobs. *** and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

RLR Contracting business owner, *** wrote a contract to start and complete construction on my basement after we had a flood. The contract he presented me showed the total cost for materials and labour was $11000.00. He and his employees started working on my basement the first week of February, 2018. He told me the basement would be completed April 4, 2018. I paid *** $2750.00 upfront , the agreed 25% deposit before he started working on the basement. Then on February 27th I paid *** the materials cost he requested, $6186.88. On March 26th he was paid by me an additional $5500.00, *** told me this amount was to pay his employees for labour. In the first week of May, *** asked me for an additional $2500.00 he said to buy materials to finish the job. I did not give him this amount because he was not working on the basement or putting together the supplies that were already purchased for the basement. Doors are still laying on the basement floor, stair railing was never put back up. He never started tiling the stairs. I witnessed him removing supplies I had paid for including large panels of drywall, tiles into his trailer. He also took an antique bottle opener that was fastened to an unfinished 2x4 wall stud, he never did drywall that area. He never put back the tubing for the furnace to warm the basement rooms. He left electrical wiring from sockets, light switches and the telephone jacks hanging out of the walls. The water wasn't hooked up to the sink in the basement washroom. The basement was never finished as he had promised it would be in the contract. He stated to me when I refused to give him more money, 'I?m not working for free.? I paid him a total of $14 436.88 with bank drafts and I have kept all of my receipts.
