We have tried to help you several times in this matterWe can not have an open check book at some other dealership to fix vehicles that we can fix at our own dealershipWe will uphold our offer to youPlease let me know when you can make an appointment

To whom it may concern, My name is Jim C [redacted] I'm one of the sales managers at Burritt Motors and in Oswego NYI have received the complaint from the [redacted] we have addressed this complaint on two separate occasions after delivery of this vehicleAt the time of delivery we explained that with a plastic bumper that buffing may only take out some of the minor scratches and will not too much on the deeper scratches but that we could put some touch up paint on the deeper scratchesWe explained that this process would not make the vehicle new nor would it look repaintedOn the second occasion the vehicle was picked up and accepted, however when the vehicle made it home Mrs [redacted] was unhappy and wanted the bumper paintedWe explained to her before she purchased this vehicle that could not be done due to the discounted price on the vehicleShe had accepted those terms at time of purchase and before deliveryShe indicated that she still had anticipated the vehicle bumper to be painted in more accept anything lessWe have not only fulfilled our portion of the agreement but have gone above and beyondWe are willing to make one last attempt to try to improve the appearance of the bumper and we will painted at cost if the customer chooses to pay for the cost.Thank you,Jim C [redacted] Sales ManagerBurritt Motors [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I understand that they want me to come back to their shop to have the vehicle looked at and possibly fixedHowever as I said in the original message, I was never told this vehicle was in an accident and that the warranty was voided and if I wanted things fixed I would have to take a day off of work and/or be away from my family for the hour round trip it takes to get thereI was told that it was under warranty and all work could be done at any *** dealer as is common with any manufacturer warrantyThe *** dealer told me that the hood is not the original since the struts they replaced don't hold it upAll I'm asking is for Burritt to pay for the work to get done at the *** dealer so I can stay near home and not have to take off work or provide a sitter for my kidsBecause Burritt doesn't want to pay *** themselves, instead of realizing they made a mistake (purposefully or not) and didn't tell me it had been in an accident, the only option they are giving their customer that spent over $36k, is to drive back out thereThis is absurd to me that it has come to thisI want my warranty honored by having the work done at the *** dealer near my home.
Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have contacted the business several times however and no one has gotten back to me. Although I am accepting the resolution, I have to say that the sales person was deceptive with regards to the service contract. I made it clear from the very beginning I did not want one.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The dealer is sending screen shot images of numbers they are entering in the computer. These are not the actual numbers. You can see from my attachents that the actual contract does not match anything they provided and these are signed contracts. The first page shows that they provided a payoff to me on 9/24 for $9421.25. Page 2 shows that B[redacted] Motors never made a payment until 10/18/2012 (almost a month after the supposedly sent a check on my behalf) Page 3 is the purchase agreement and page 4 is the retail installment contract. B[redacted] Motors sold this vehicle without a lien release. The NYS DMV has notified me that the lien was just satisfied in May 2016. s

There was a miscomunication in reguards to a service contract, The customer was not told it was a requirement. The customer has decided that he dose not want a service contract and we have been working with him to refund the money on the bank contract. WE hope to have this resolved before the end of...

the month.

During the above purchase, [redacted] called his financial institution and obtained a payoff of $7400.  At the time of purchase we called to verify his payoff with [redacted] while [redacted] was present and the payoff with Per Diem increased to $7,935.42.  We then financed [redacted]...

with Santander Bank and collected from them the payoff of $7,935.42 to pay [redacted] on his behalf.  We collected $7,935.42 and we paid off $7,935.42 on Mr. [redacted] behalf.  Attached are copies of the contract and the cashed check from [redacted].  Much after the transaction took place [redacted] contacted our dealership telling us that [redacted] was still looking for more money.  We worked diligently to try and get this resolved.  We told [redacted] that both [redacted] and us, on his behalf, obtained the payoff for the vehicle and inquired to why they still showed a balance.  They indicated to us that they would only speak to [redacted] about it and that they did receive our payoff; however, [redacted] still had charges on his account that needed to be address.  It appeared that there may have been several late fees and or charges on his account or perhaps other [redacted] accounts that he had, but they could not reveal to us what they were.We tried several times to help [redacted] resolve this, [redacted] would only work with their customer.  We paid off the amount of the vehicle that we collected from the customer as we promised in his transition; therefore, we upheld our end of the transaction in its entirety.  There isn't anything else we can do to resolve the miscellaneous fees that [redacted] charged him for things unknown to us.

[redacted], We have tried to work with you on this several times. We have offered to look at the issues, and offered you a loaner vehicle. If you are unwilling to work with us, there is nothing more we can do. We are still willing to work with you on this if you want our assistance. You will have to...

bring the vehicle back to this dealership so that we can help you. Please let us know what your intent is.

I have attached the documents n my previous response, But I have attached them for your records again.  Thank you.

this vehicle. At the time of delivery we explained that with a plastic bumper that buffing may only take out some of the minor scratches and will not too much on the deeper scratches but that we could put some touch up paint on the deeper scratches. We explained that this process would not make the vehicle new nor would it look repainted. On the second occasion the vehicle was picked up and accepted, however when the vehicle made it home Mrs. [redacted] was unhappy and wanted the bumper painted. We explained to her before she purchased this vehicle that could not be done due to the discounted price on the vehicle. She had accepted those terms at time of purchase and before delivery. She indicated that she still had anticipated the vehicle bumper to be painted in more accept anything less. We have not only fulfilled our portion of the agreement but have gone above and beyond. We are willing to make one last attempt to try to improve the appearance of the bumper and we will painted at cost if the customer chooses to pay for the cost.Thank you,Jim C[redacted]Sales ManagerBurritt Motors[redacted]
