# As a contractor I went with you to [redacted] to pick up the carpet and we spend more than hours at the store with no additional cost to you and you did not purchased the carpet #Next day I was with you at [redacted] again without charging you for my time and then you decide that the [redacted] guys will do the work for you and you cancelled me #I went back another day to [redacted] to return the materials that you had purchased for the Carpet installation(Even thought you cancelled me) And again I did not charge you for my time#When you wanted me to install your carpet you said that you wanted to leave the laminated floor because it was going to be more labor and would obviously cost you moreRemember this? I did advised you that was not wiseThat it would have not be a quality job#You called me after all of this to check for you as a favor because you did not pay me for this and plus you know I am not a plumber to check and gave you my opinion on a water meter problem in your basement And I was there and advised you to call the Township or city in your area to change your water meter to which you agreed and appreciated at the time# After or moths of me texting you and attempting to get in contact with you, then you decide to patch some halls at your property walls and a threshold on the floor, something that I did already for you so they $(Initial and only payment) were justifiedWhich was obviously the right thing to do#I was supposed to be at your house today 11/6/(finally after all the attempts from me to get this done for you) and I text you in the morning to go to your property and you told me that there was no body homeAround 3:00pm today 11/6/you texted me asking to refund a portion of the $I initially charged you for the work because you wanted your boyfriend to do it to save some money#The following is all the work I did for you: A- I went to [redacted] for you and with you around or times to waste time because then you decided to cancel me because [redacted] was doing it cheaper after you had an agreement with meB- I went to your house to help you with the water mater issue and advised you to call your local city hall or Township (since you are aware I am not a plumber) to get the mater replacedC- I went to your house to fix your wallsYour walls were brokenFirst huge hole in one of your hallway wall, and like more holes on one of the bedroom wallSo, I did replaced the damaged areas (The holes) with new drywall and compoundD- I was supposed to be at your house today 11/6/to finish just few minutes of sanding the patches and you tell me to don't go because you wanted your boyfriend to do it to save some money and wanted me to refund you the money for the work I already didE- Yes it did took a lot of time until you decided what you wanted to do because you were not sure what did you wanted to do ( The Carpet or The walls)F- At first when you cancelled me the Carpet project you asked me to keep the $deposit and told me that you will have me do something else at your property to cover this $paymentThat is when we talked about the walls and threshold in your houseThen, You just continued to cancel me and cancel me over and over and you were unsure if you wanted me to do the Carpet or to finish your wallsIn the few months after the initial agreement I did had to cancel timesThe first time because I had fell from a latter and injured my self and the second time because an emergency arise with my mother in lawBoth times I notified you in advance and you stated that it was okBut all of the other times that we continue to communicate via tex, arranging dates and times you continue to cancel me or I showed up at your house and no one open the doorG- The delays occurred because of you and not on my partI have all the good faith to get the work done for you but you took too long to decide what to do and still I continue to text you asking you what to doH- I have all of the text messages asking you at the beginning to do it quick since you had already paid me the $and you basically told me "You have to wait until I decide what I am going to do"Those were exactly your words# Today 11/6/I was just a few minutes away (Finally) to finish sanding the patches and ONCE again you cancelled me without taking into consideration that when I schedule you, I am setting that time frame just for you and making other costumers wait#Yes, I did mentioned to you out of frustration about all the time and gas that you had made me waste in the past few months(Tell me that what I'm saying it's not true)Do you really think I should reimburse you any money after the work I already did and all the time and gas you made me waste? Do you really think this bad review was fair? I don't think so! I always try my best to accommodate my costumers needs accordingly, but it was really impossible dealing with you since you continue to change your mindNow, even tho I know that all the time I put in this and the work I did for you justified the $500.00, I asked you how much money you wanted back, just to get this situation over with and move on, and you did not respondedI did asked you about this when you posted your review on my Bussiness [redacted] page I have witnesses (my helpers) that went with me to your property a few times and you and no one else opened the door for meI hope we can resolve this promptly because for me it’s seems that these bad reviews and complaints are not fair, are malicious, and lack of evidence that I attempted to deceive youThank you....Ricardo M [redacted] R.MHome & Building Improvements

I am rejecting this response because:...

before signing the contact it was NEVER explained to her the delayed fees and he did not mention what materials are needed to fix the home. He just kept asking for money for materials, but did not clearly explained what materials are needed since the beginning.  As for the contact, my mother does not speak or read very good in English therefore the contact and explanation should of been explained in her native language which is Spanish. This problem could of been avoid if she signed the contact or explained what in the contact entails in Spanish. So she can understand if this contractor is fit for the job. What I am doing, I am just explained her side of  the story.  She has ALL the receipts and deposits she made to his company. I am not trying to defame his company, but what I am doing for my mother is to assure their is no scam or injustice done towards her. I do not want her to spend all her money on a contractor that will not do his work.  Any questions or proves,  please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am rejecting this response because: The owner of this business continues to tell lies instead of accepting responsibility for his wrongdoings. He continues to claim that he came to my house and no one answered... show me the call log/text message where you contacted me to say you were at my residence. Show me the call log/text message to inform me that no one was there when you came. He has his wife make up lies to corroborate his story (that is the staff he speaks of) and that is unacceptable. I can provide text messages, call logs as well as THE CAMERA FOOTAGE FROM MY DOORSTEP THAT SHOWS  HE  NOR HIS WIFE EVER STEPPED FOOT ON MY PROPERTY! I gave a $500 deposit for carpeting... I didn't ask for it back because we were going to apply it to future projects... The issue comes in where the owner of said business is adding cost that were never quoted all to not have to give me my money back. Had he specified the cost for the items he is NOW claiming, then it would have been paid. I've never tried to cheat him out of money... what he asked he received... so to claim otherwise now is what makes this business owner the cheating, lying, deceitful person he has shown himself to be.
