Poor workmanship and lack of basic construction knowledge

In response to letter sent to the Revdex.com office, I will now give my version of what took place. Said homeowner of this property *** * ***, *** *** ***, San Antonio, TX has called me on several occasions in reference to her water leaks that were pre-exsisting
leaks, prior to any and all roofing work began. During the initial inspection and walk-through of her home, she took the time to take me inside her house, the back room of where she keeps her birds. She pointed out a leak to me that was occuring on the ceiling, where water was coming in from said areaI responded with letting her know that when we do the roof, we will make sure that all water leaks will stop coming from the roof, if infact it was a roof leak. She (*** * ***) informed me at the time, she had the roof redone when she added the addition to the back side of the houseThe contractor she hired did a good job, however, there was a small area where the water was sitting and causing puddles. Once we were contracted to do the roof, I spoke with the roofers to make sure this specific area, were homeowner had pointed out, had additional attention to prevent water leaks being that she already had concerns about said area, due to the pre-exsisting leaks(Not a new leak from what we did). After all work was completed during the summer, the homeowner called me back with signs of a water leakAs we went back to look at this leak, we pointed out to the homeowner that the leak was not coming from the roof, but in fact, it was coming in from the chimney mortor and not a roof leakAs I’m sure it has been the whole time from the previous leaksI offered to help where I can as previous times to helping her out. Homeowner indicated that shingles were falling off and sitting on the floorWhen her appointed General Contractor, myself and my roofer showed up, we inspected the roof and found NO SHINGLES missingEvery shingles was installed properly, secured and in placeThe shingles *** * *** was talking about were the shingles from the old roof that we missed during clean up A few months later, I received another call from *** * *** about the roofing shinglesWe went back again to inspect what she was talking about and how some shingles had smears in them(This is caused when the shingles are too hot and roofers are walking around while installing the roofThis will not be noticed until later down the line after it rains when the roofing minerals fall off.) I offered to go back, replace all shingles that had smears and make the issue rightR-n-B Roofing went back after purchasing new shingles to replace what was smeared from walking on themAt this time, all shingles were replaced, in proper working condition and looking goodThe homeowner still had replacement shingles that we left behind from the time we did the roof in the summerAll shingles in the garage looked brand new, no defects, no damages and 100% Perfect. As some time has gone by, the homeowner (*** * ***) has stated to me that she has had multiple contractors on the roof along with additional insurance agents on the roofWhen the homeowner and I had a meeting along with her “Family Friend” (not a professional roofer) and the representative of the shingle company, we noticed “again” that multiple areas had smears through out the roofI asked the homeowner who else has been on the roof and she stated her nephew has been walking on the roof (He’s NOT a roofer nor does he know how to walk on the roof without damaging the shinglesPointing out to her, he would also need special shoes that will not mess up or ruin the shingles) *** * *** was asking me to put in writing that I will continue to carry warranty and repair all shinglesI refuse to repair shingles a second time due to the homeowner continuously having people walk on the roofRoofs are not meant to be walked on several times through out the month, all year nor throughout its lifetimeRoofs are meant to protect your home, keep you safe, dry, safe from hail storms, and through all types of weatherNot to use for daily activity or hanging out on top. On a second note, the repressentative from the shingle company tried multiple times to explain the homeowner that she’s more than welcomed to Open a Warranty case and have the shingels tested for defectsShe refused to do soWe have done all we can do to help with her issues, however, we will not continue to go back time after time to repair what her nephew and others have damaged. Third, the homeowner still has an outstanding balance with me and refuses to payI’m willing to keep the warranty for the years for labor, but I have taken pictures of the roof on what has been damaged by her peopleR-n-B Roofing will cover for roof leaks or other labor issuesThe shingle company will carry the warranty for their product. This will conclude any actions she has spoken of through the Revdex.com

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Mr.  RNB Roofing  failed to mention in his letter that he chose to  use insults in his  communication with me  .He also has his facts wrong .
