Staff west nice in the beginning. How ever that all changed when I made the purchase of a set of wheels from the marion Illinois location. After installation was finished, I only made it a mile from the store when I had to return my truck was shaking so bad that you couldn't get over 20 miles per hour. They attempted to re ballance them was no better. Took the truck to a different buisness and paid them to ballance them they were way off. Weights would not staunch on rs at all so it was a constant thing to have them balanced. Was on weekly payments asked to change to bi weekly several times they never would do it and called every week for payment. They were rude and was worse each time. When I moved had only been at new residents 2 weeks they came and took the wheels along with my tires that weren't even purchased from them left my truck on blocks and I had to drive an hr and a half round trip to retrieve my tires they gave me the wrong tires wrong size and street tread not the mud tires they took I think one of the staff wanted my tires for them selves, had to make a second trip to get the correct ones took them 2 hrs to fond them and call me back . My advice is do not do business with this company rude and unprofessional and if you desiderate to move you better call to inform them before you move even 1 box what a joke.

I purchased a brand new set of tires from Rent and Roll from the Raleigh location on New Bern Avenue. A week later I had a flat tire at my job. They didn't seal around my tire good it caused the tire to leak air out. When I went there they didn't apologize for my inconvenience, nor did they ask if I was okay or anything. Very unemotional people there. So the following week I noticed another tire was going flat , so I took it to the gas station twice to put air in that one. I then took my car back to Rent and Roll and was very upset with them, They told me only it will be a twenty minute wait time. That was it. Don't take your car there . They don't care about you at all. No empathy for their customer at all! I will never go there again.

This place is a freaking joke, whatever you do, stay the hell away from this company. They don't have a clue on how to conduct business or how to make a customer satisfied. Call you to much for something they did wrong and have the nerves to talk to you like they are paying us. The customer is who pays their bills but they don't seem to understand this fact. I beg you out there to stay away from this place. Don't say I didn't warn you. Buyer's beware.

Review: I purchased wheels/tires on 2/21/15 for $1227.00. The tires were mounted on that day as well. Prior to them mounting my tires and my making the purchase, the sales person made me aware that three inserts were missing from my wheel set and that he would be ordering them. He told me the inserts would be shipped to the store within 5 business days. I never heard from them. On 3/2/15 I contacted the store by phone to inquire on the missing inserts. The person who answered explained that the person who facilitated my transaction no longer worked for the store. He also said he'd do some research and call me back that day. I never got a call back and I'm still missing my inserts.Desired Settlement: I just want my inserts

Response:

Mrs. [redacted] purchased a used set of wheels on 2/21/15 that were missing a couple of insert pieces. These inserts are for cosmetic purposes only and do not effect anything w/ the mounting or balancing of the wheels. She did decide to go ahead w/ the purchase and have them installed that day. Her Salesperson, [redacted] did order the pieces that day. Unfortunately we found out a few days later that they were on back order from the manufacturer at that time. They finally have more available at the Manufacturer and we look forward to having them in the next few days. There will be no charge for these insert pieces, of course.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I have had multiple issues with the company involving repair as well as replacement. The main issue however im reporting is that they took 60 dollars out of my bank account without my knowledge and lied saying that I gave them approval to do so. I ahve never given them signed or verbal consent to save my payment info. I have only made a payment with them one with my credit card months again but just recently they did not tell me they were taking payment. I had not spojken to anyone.Desired Settlement: I want the issue on record with the Revdex.com

Business

Response:

To Whom it may concern, I personally spoke w/ Mr. [redacted] on the week of May 15th. He explained to me that he no longer had possession of our Merchandise. I then explained that he was still responsible, per the Contract he signed, to maintain his current payments or payout his account since we didn't have the Merchandise either. I also offered him a very small settlement (at a loss to our Company) just to extinguish the situation. He told me that he wasn't paying anything at that time and would call me back shortly but never did. Since then we have made numerous attempts by phone and field visits to contact and/or locate Mr. [redacted] and our Property. He did finally call back after we left messages in person at his house for him to contact us. Per the notes in our system, he committed himself verbally to pay on 5/29/15 w/ one of my Employees. He has made several payments over the phone w/ a Credit Card according to his Payment History. We would still offer a settlement amount to pay out his current account or attempt to make payment arrangements w/ Mr. [redacted]. As far as any other problems w/ our Companies service issues w/ Mr. [redacted], I am not aware of any and we have nothing on file. We have an amazing In-House payment program that offers everyone "Free" Replacement from damages sustained by Road Hazard. I show no claims that have been reported or filed for Mr. [redacted]. It always seems that the only Customers that don't absolutely Love our products and services are the ones that do not intend to pay! With Kind Regards,[redacted] RNR Mgr.

Response:

I never spoke with anyone are gave permission to run my card on any giving date the notes and accusations are all fabrication of the truth and I feel as an consumer I was violated. Rent and Roll was informed that I no longer had access to the vehicle that the merchandise was installed and me paying with my card does not grant permission to store information to use at their on disposal

Business

Response:

It seems apparent that there was a miscommunication, at some point, about this payment. We have refunded the $65.38 payment back on his Credit Card. Hopefully this will resolve the issue Mr. [redacted] was having. We will continue to strive for the best Customer Service possible!

Regards,

Review: This business accessed my checking account twice without my permission. I called the first time it happened and talked to [redacted] who assured me it would not happen again and it did. The second time it happened I called [redacted] and got absolutely nowhere with her so I talked to the manager [redacted]. My account was not refunded. This business would not mail me anything saying that my information would not be used again. I made a one time payment to them and never authorized this company to use my card or account number anytime after that. My account was authorized twice. The reason giving to me was human error. But human error doesn't happen twice in two weeks on the same account.Desired Settlement: I would like this business to mail me something saying they have removed my information so they can't access my account without my permission anymore.

Response to #[redacted]:

I did speak to [redacted] about the confusion w/ her Visa card. Typically, a customer’s card would be run when they call in over the phone or have a recurring “auto-run” payment. Apparently she called in to use her card for a “one time” payment. For whatever reason, the Clerk who took the payment entered it into our “auto-run” card information. This was in fact a Human oversight unfortunately. That is why it was ran for the 2nd time. We did also, in fact, refund the 2nd payment due to our oversight. Her Credit Card was then deleted from our files.

Unfortunately, She has since stolen, from RNR, the items she had on Contract w/ us. We haven’t been able to make any kind of contact w/ her whatsoever.

Thank You,

[redacted] MGR

Review: Back in February 2015 I purchased 4 brand new [redacted] tires for just over $500 to put on my after market rims. First off, the sales person ordered the tires too big where it rubs when I turn the wheel. Second, I discovered a massive knot in the sidewall of my drivers side front tire. When I brought it in to be inspected and serviced I was advised that since I paid cash they couldn't do anything. When I purchased the tires, I was told to bring it in if anything was wrong with it. So I did, and now I'm being told I'm stuck with a defected tire, where the tires were already bought too wide in the first place.Desired Settlement: All I want is the tires to be replaced with the proper size and fit without any defects.

Business

Response:

Good afternoon, first off this complaint was sent to the [redacted] location when in fact the tires were sold to Mr. [redacted] here at the [redacted] location. The facts in this matter are we did sell Mr. [redacted] a set of 245/3520 tires this size is more than compatible on his particular vehicle. We offer certain services depending on which way the customer obtains the tires. We have a Pay as you go program also known as a Rent to Own program, if you are on this program there is a replacement option as long as you are making the payments until you obtain ownership if you damage the tire. Mr. [redacted] came in and purchased these tires for the discounted cash price, this cash price covers free installation free rotate and balancing and free flat REPAIR (not replacement) for the life of the tire. A bulge in the sidewall is damage caused by the driver hitting some sort of road hazard , pothole etc. a bulge in the sidewall is not from a tire being too wide. A bulge in the sidewall cannot can be repaired therefore its necessary for the customer to purchase another tire at an even greater discounted price which was offered to Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] made this purchase on 7 February, 2015 and files a complaint on 25 April 2015 That's 77 days for Mr. [redacted] to come up with the idea of the tires being too large? Mr. [redacted] expecting a FREE tire Replacement is almost like Buying a new car and 77 days later having some sort of accident and expecting the retailer to give him another new car for free. We are more than willing to provide Mr. [redacted] with all the services we offer all of our customers however free tire replacement on a retail sale is in no way part of our program. Again we are willing to offer Mr. [redacted] a tire at a greatly discounted rate, but not for free. Please see attachments. Thank you for your time. Any further correspondence should be sent to the correct store location [redacted]@RNRWHEELS.COM [redacted]864-[redacted]
