Ref* I received a letter from the Revdex.com stating that we did not resolve the situation because my customer did not receive anything stating her counter top had a seal warranty. Attached is a copy of the information sheet from the Granite Company that does the sealing. This was sent May 18th to the customer. Furthermore, the customer did not tell you that she owes me money and I am not requesting any further payment from her. This is resulting over a $1,credit to her account. This being said I would appreciate that my records be changed. Thanks, *** ***

[redacted] The customer complaint is regarding a sealer not being put on her vanity top.  This was in fact missed but she was told we would take care of having it sealed with a 15 year seal warranty.  I contacted the counter top supplier and paid to have them send someone out and seal the top.  This top would provide her with a 15 year seal warranty.  As for the small marble wills around her shower area the manufacturer will not warranty A 15 year seal warranty in the shower area.  I only discussed the vanity with the customer.  I contacted the suppler of the sills which is a ceramic tile supplier.  They have a product that will seal the tile for 5 years plus before it needs sealed again.  Our Company has been in business since 1946 and we have a very good reputation in the area.  I will admit that this particular job had many issues (Not the customer’s fault) but manufacturing product problems and communication miss-understandings between Roach & Ziegler and the customer.  I believe we took care of all [redacted]’s concerns although they did not happen as quickly as I or her would have liked.                                           ...⇄ Sincerely,                                            ...⇄ [redacted]

Review: I hired Roach & Ziegler as general contractor and supplier for a complete bathroom renovation. Among the specifications was that all marble (vanity countertop, kneewall top, and shower threshold) be treated with "lifetime" sealer. After conducting market research but before I contracted with him, [redacted] advised that marble suppliers are no longer providing "lifetime" sealer, and that the standard for extended sealer is now for 15 year sealer. After discussion, [redacted] and I mutually agreed to a revised standard of 15 year sealer. The marble vanity countertop was installed in March 2015. I recently learned from the supplier of the marble countertop that it was not treated with extended sealer. I am unclear whether the marble in the shower area was treated with any sealer, as it was provided by a different supplier. Roach and Ziegler has not responded to repeated email and phone messages over the past several weeks requesting their response and resolution of this issue.Desired Settlement: Roach and Ziegler to provide marble that has been treated with 15 year sealer, or to treat all marble that has been provided, and to provide documentation of same.
