I am rejecting this response because:The Business sent out an email clearly stating to email them by the end of the day to "confirm" the childs roster spotAnyone who did not confirm their child's spot by the end of the day would receive a FULL refundTo confirm a spot means to accept it We did not want our child to play so we did not confirm her spot. The text to the coach has absolutely nothing to do with this issueShe is not the one who clients communicate with as to whether or not a person is going to playShe was sending email after email about practices and other itemsWe sent her an email stating [redacted] would not be at a practice as a courtesyNothing was said to the effect that [redacted] was playing or not playingOnce again, this is not the coaches responsibilityWhen asked to email by the end of the day to CONFIRM roster spots, the email was not from or involving the coachBy sending out the email, MDB changed their policy and sent a very unclear email that we understood meant to email only if you wanted the roster spot It did not say to confirm or deny so we did not send an email denying the roster spot.Exact quote from email 3/26/2016:"The deadline to confirm roster positions is tonight, in order to receive a full refundSo please confirm that you and your daughter will be joining us if you have not already."- [redacted] ***This clearly states to email if you want the positionAlso, no communication needed if you don't.We took this as email to confirm (except) the roster spotNo communication needed if not accepting

Thank you for the information. We have a policy that after rosters are posted we keep $of the season fee ($435). This eliminates players trying out for multiple teamsI had not heard from any parents so I sent a follow up email reminding parents to communicate if they decided to
"confirm their roster spot", as well as communicate if any changes were to be made Mr*** never sent an email stating that his daughter was not going to be participating, when he clearly new the rules (we had many signs at tryouts, as well as a waiver that was signed and clear) He then emailed the coach (March 28th) stating "We will not be at practice, we are out of town"He had the opportunity to say to his coach that he would not be playing on the team (as she sent over emails communicating on practices/locations). Then a couple of days later he sent an email that stated "When can I expect my refund", with no communication leading up to that Per our policy, we issued him a refund of $immediately following our interaction via email

I am rejecting this response because:The Business sent out an email clearly stating to email them by the end of the day to "confirm" the childs roster spot. Anyone who did not confirm their child's spot by the end of the day would receive a FULL refund. To confirm a spot means to accept it.  We did not want our child to play so we did not confirm her spot. The text to the coach has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. She is not the one who clients communicate with as to whether or not a person is going to play. She was sending email after email about practices and other items. We sent her an email stating [redacted] would not be at a practice as a courtesy. Nothing was said to the effect that [redacted] was playing or not playing. Once again, this is not the coaches responsibility. When asked to email by the end of the day to CONFIRM roster spots, the email was not from or involving the coach. By sending out the email, MDB changed their policy and sent a very unclear email that we understood meant to email only if you wanted the roster spot.  It did not say to confirm or deny so we did not send an email denying the roster spot.Exact quote from email 3/26/2016:"The deadline to confirm roster positions is tonight, in order to receive a full refund. So please confirm that you and your daughter will be joining us if you have not already."-[redacted]This clearly states to email if you want the position. Also, no communication needed if you don't.We took this as email to confirm (except) the roster spot. No communication needed if not accepting.
