Road Ready Truck & Trailer Repair Reviews (%countItem)

I took my truck for some diagnosis and repair work. I have been to this shop many times before but this time in question, the owner's son told me what I needed done and how much it will cost. They are charging me extra. I called them before and told them I am willing to pay whatever they had fixed for me but not something they didn't do for me. The owner was yelling at me and said will send me to collections either way I will have to pay him. I asked him for prove of the work that he he is claim he have done he said he was going to get back to me and he he never did. Today I get a treating letter from him saying he will send me to collections plus he put my name on the walls for men tjat don't pay their bills. This is not right. I have attemped to contact this guy and he is very rude to deal with. If he proves he completed this work I promise to pay him. Ask him date time he worked on my truck and where and reciepts he purchased the stuff he put in my car. He is full of it. I know he did some work but not all of it. He is not willing to talk to me at all. He just yells at me. I need help to solve this problem please it is not right. I have a right too same as him. He thinks he has a business and he can treaten people with collections. After he corrects the bill I will pay him. While I was waiting for him to get back to me on the work they never performed he added interest on the bill. If you want I can put you on the line and please listen how he talks to his customers. Please help me settle this. He wants to collect money on some work they did not do.

Thank you!!

Road Ready Truck & Trailer Repair Response

I have scanned and sent all of the invoices and the work orders along with the DART 90 day inspections that go with the work orders. You can look at them and see that all of the work on the invoices was also on the work orders. Each mechanic fills out there portion of the work order. We have not over charged the customer in any way. Everything that was found to be wrong on the DOT inspection was repaired as per the customer's request.

We feel that the customer is trying to get out of paying the invoices,. He was complaining about not having a driver to drive one of the trucks when he left here in January.

As far as the claim that I yelled at him. Well that would be false. I have not spoken to him since January of 2017 and I have never yelled at him or anyone that comes into our shop. I think that you could ask anyone and find out that I do not yell at anyone. The people in the office have called and left messages for him many times. One of the people actually talked to him one time. Every time we have called his phone number the person that answers tells the person calling that they have called the wrong number. I am not sure how he can claim that I am Rude when I have not called him or spoken to him since he was last here for repairs.

We did not send a threatening letter to the customer. We simply added the interest we are legally able to add and we informed the customer he can pay what is owed or we will send it to collections. That is all within our rights as a business. As far as his name on the white board with all the others who have not paid there bills or have passed bad checks. I have checked and can not find any law that says we can not do it. If it bothers him he should take care of his bills and get his name off the wall.

Customer Response

I am rejecting this response because:
Hello,As you can see this owner is very aggressive and wants me to pay some work that he didn't do for me. This is what we can do let's take this truck to a third party shop to do an inspection and have him provide the parts that he put it in and pay for the inspection. If all parts match I will pay for everything. This guy is lying. I called him and talked to him and got nowhere. I am willing to settle this if all parts he put in this truck he provides receipts matches the part numbers in this truck. I swear he didn't replace my transmission. I also noticed now he added replaced mirror. He got paid by the insurance for the mirror due to auto accident I hit a dear at that time and he got paid for it and it was separate work.I am will not ever refuse to pay for something that was done for me but he has to correct everything waive the interest fees. I still don't understand how he can charge interest fee while he don't want to correct this mistake we are have a bill dispute and he should not continue to charge the account.Thank you!!
