I am rejecting this response because:
Hello,As you can see this owner is very aggressive and wants me to pay some work that he didn't do for meThis is what we can do let's take this truck to a third party shop to do an inspection and have him provide the parts that he put it in and pay for the inspectionIf all parts match I will pay for everythingThis guy is lyingI called him and talked to him and got nowhereI am willing to settle this if all parts he put in this truck he provides receipts matches the part numbers in this truckI swear he didn't replace my transmissionI also noticed now he added replaced mirrorHe got paid by the insurance for the mirror due to auto accident I hit a dear at that time and he got paid for it and it was separate work.I am will not ever refuse to pay for something that was done for me but he has to correct everything waive the interest feesI still don't understand how he can charge interest fee while he don't want to correct this mistake we are have a bill dispute and he should not continue to charge the account.Thank you!!

I am rejecting this response because:
It's dishonest of you to say that you had to reverse the overhaul quote hence forgetting to add on the parts for the injector cups,O rings and coolant because you gave me two quotes prior to the repairs. The first one was for $and the second one for the overhaul which I insisted on as they cost roughly $10,in Tx and covers the major components of the truck e.g the engine,I figured if yours would come up to around that much instead of having to deal with one repair after the other I would rather add a small amount money towards the overhaul quote and just do one major repair that would pretty much cover up everything and save myself from down time later on down the line with a possibility of saving money.Unfortunately, your estimate came up to around $20,and I absolutely could not raise that much money.Luckily, you had totally discouraged the overhaul, said you inspected the truck and considering an overhaul would be a waste of time and money. You also 100% assured me that the head which you now insist needs to be repaired did not have any damages like cracks or pressure so I needed not to worry about it.Now after all your suggested repairs have failed you insist that there is more work to be done at a cost of 15hrs of labor @$95/hrs and another $to send the head out to the dealer to be pressurized. With that information I decided to stick with the first quote as you'd suggested. You fail to understand that I allowed you to work on my truck based on the estimate you gave me and I consider it very unfair to fault me and demand more money from me for your forgetfulness.Had the estimate come up to $7,that you are asking for right now,I would have opted to take my truck elsewhere.Freightliner the dealer had given me a quote of $for the same job but I decided to let you do it as you had let me park at your yard at no cost till I could afford the repair. When I called you to inquire about how the repairs were going, you told me my bill had gone up by $as you had to do some extra stuff.I was upset because you did not have the courtesy to call me and ask if I was okay with it.I was the one who placed the call.you cannot proceed with repairs that would cost customers extra money without their consent it's unacceptable.I only agreed to add the money because it was already a done deal and if an extra $was all that was needed to get me up and running then so be it.From then on I requested you to not do any extra work without my consent.A few days later,I called again because based on the time frame he had given me the truck was still not done .They had to send back the parts that they had received back to the dealer as they were not the correct ones hence the delay. It was at this point that I told Sean to just take his time and call me whenever the truck was ready to avoid rushing him and for the sake of a job well done .In about a weeks time,Sean called and told me that there was still too much oil in the trucks system and more work had to be done.He Explained a few things and based on what he was telling me I knew I was to spend a hefty amount of money so I asked for a recap of how much my bill stood at ,at the time to avoid any misunderstanding. He gave me a ridiculous figure of $as the balance after the deposit I had given him of $2500.How on earth could my bill increase to that much without my knowledge? All I knew was that I had a balance of $plus the $I had agreed to add on to the balance and the truck would be good to hit the road.I realized that Sean had no idea I had the estimate he gave me way before he started the job.He asked me to forward it to him for revision and he came up with the story of forgetting to charge me for parts and labor. Why hold me accountable for something I completely had nothing to do with? As for the oil cooler bolts,I did not authorize it.You just went ahead and did what you wanted to do to increase my bill.you are not helping me anyway as you've indicated.I kept calling you and emailing you to adjust the bill but my pleas fell on deaf ears! You said I had to pay the bill regardless of whether the truck was functional or not.Are you really being fair for charging me $for a still broken truck that I have to take elsewhere for further repairs still in the same condition as I brought it in?You insist that if I drive that truck I will not get around the corner and you will not warranty the parts.I drove that truck from Tx as is and it made it to Mn without stalling on the road. The dealer is about miles from your shop.Isn't that a tactic to hold me up at your shop and let you do the job that you are not sure of while my bill keeps going up?On June 26th you Emailed me about a mechanic that was looking for work to do saying it would be a good day to start on it.I almost gave in but with your dishonest rate and uncertainties I just couldn't agree to it.you said the probability of the same overhaul you so very much discouraged in the beginning was high and I can only pray that the problem is the #cylinder. That is after collecting a total of $from me .Then if in the worst case scenario an overhaul is needed another maybe 20,0000?My question to you is,if you were to wear my shoes would you risk gambling with an additional roughly $to the bill to just open up the head with no guarantees?what exactly were your motives, when you asked me if I could consider buying a truck that you had sitting at your yard? How is it that when I mentioned I could trade in the truck you wanted to know how much I would get for it and since I had no clue you said you had a friend who works at the dealership and would be glad to ask him to come down and give me an estimate. When I declined you tried to find me a driving job at your friends company? Lastly I do understand that you are not running a charity garage but I also thought you are running a trustworthy and ethical business. My truck issues keep migrating and you seem unsure of what you are doing so that I can continue spending money at your shop.First you claim you made a mistake with my quote due to forgetfulness and then was it a coincidence that a day after I filed this case with Revdex.com you emailed me telling me that my bill went down to $instead of the $as you'd charged me I think about $more per hr?why two errors with my quotes? Please release my truck so that I can go fend for my family

I have scanned and sent all of the invoices and the work orders along with the DART 90 day inspections that go with the work orders. You can look at them and see that all of the work on the invoices was also on the work orders. Each mechanic fills out there portion of the work order. We have not...

over charged the customer in any way. Everything that was found to be wrong on the DOT inspection was repaired as per the customer's request.   We feel that the customer is trying to get out of paying the invoices,. He was complaining about not having a driver to drive one of the trucks when he left here in January.            As far as the claim that I yelled at him. Well that would be false. I have not spoken to him since January of 2017 and I have never yelled at him or anyone that comes into our shop. I think that you could ask anyone and find out that I do not yell at anyone. The people in the office have called and left messages for him many times. One of the people actually talked to him one time. Every time we have called his phone number the person that answers tells the person calling that they have called the wrong number. I am not sure how he can claim that I am Rude when I have not called him or spoken to him since he was last here for repairs.     We did not send a threatening letter to the customer. We simply added the interest we are legally able to add and we informed the customer he can pay what is owed or we will send it to collections. That is all within our rights as a business. As far as his name on the white board with all the others who have not paid there bills or have passed bad checks. I have checked and can not find any law that says we can not do it. If it bothers him he should take care of his bills and get his name off the wall.

Mr. [redacted],   In regards to this complaint. [redacted] brought her truck here for diagnostics because she had coolant in the diesel fuel tank and she had engine oil getting into the coolant system. She also had a misfire in the engine. We looked at the truck and did a test on the injectors....

We found that some of the injectors were bad. We also determined that the oil cooler was leaking into the coolant system. The coolant that was in the fuel is a sign that the fuel injector cups are leaking. She asked for a quote to do a complete over haul. We gave her that quote. She said she could not afford that and she asked if she could leave the truck at our shop until she could decide what to do. After a few months of sitting here she decided to come in and see if we could just repair the coolant system and the injectors. She asked me to back the over haul out of the quote and change it to the injectors, injector cups and the oil cooler. I went into the quote and reversed the over haul to just the injectors, injector cups and the oil cooler. Unfortunately I forgot to add the parts for the injector cups and o-rings and coolant back into estimate. They were covered in the rebuild of the head on the overhaul estimate part of the estimate and it just slipped my mind. We suggested to her to replace the Rod and Main bearings while we had the engine apart because the oil pressure was low. I informed her that it was approximately $800.00 additional cost to do this. She said that was ok but did not want anything else done without her knowledge.     We did the repairs we quoted for [redacted] along with the rod & main bearing replacement. While we were removing the oil cooler all but one of the oil cooler bolts broke off in the housing. We had to drill all of those bolts out of the housing. That was not included in the estimate. You can look at the estimate and the invoice. We did not charge her for any extra time to do that repair. It added 5 hours to the time we spent doing that job. We did however add the cost of the parts. That is the unfortunate thing about getting an estimate. Some times other parts brake that are totally out of our control. We should have charged her for the extra time but we wanted to try and help her out. We also added the cost of the coolant and the gaskets needed to do the repairs back onto the invoice.   As you know an estimate is an approximate judgment or opinion of value of something. It is not set in stone. This is what we gave her an (ESTIMATE). There is no way of knowing what else was needed on the engine until we actually started to work on the engine and take it apart.   Once we finished the repairs above we filled the coolant system with a detergent to clean the oil out of the system. Once we finished that and we were satisfied with the cleanliness of the water coming from the drain on the radiator we shut off the engine and drained the coolant. There was less cleaning fluid in the coolant system than what we had put into the engine to clean it. We checked the oil level in the oil pan and determined that it was leaking coolant into the engine oil pan. We removed the oil & pan to check for coolant leaking. We pressurized the coolant system and found coolant running down the #4 cylinder wall. I called her and informed her that we had a problem and that we would need to remove the cylinder head to determine if the head gasket was leaking or if there was a problem with the liners. She told me to hold up with any other work. We waited for a week with her truck in the shop. At that point we could not leave it inside anymore. We have to keep work going through the shop. We installed the oil pan and pulled it to the storage lot.         [redacted] has called me and been here trying to understand what is wrong and I have tried to explain it to her. I have even drawn pictures to illustrate what is going on and what we had to do. She has been trying to get me to lower the bill from what it is. We cut as much time as we could to try and help but the parts are purchased from outside vendors. We have very little control of the cost of the parts. Unfortunately we can not see through the metal of the engine block and could not see any issues with the piston liners or cylinder walls. This is a business not a charity and we have employees to pay. We can not work for free. We have done as much as possible to help her. She does not understand that if she runs the engine like it is it will destroy the engine. I told her that if she paid my invoice she could do what ever she wanted with the truck. How ever we will not warranty anything that was done if she decides to run the engine with coolant in the oil. Antifreeze will destroy the bearings and the engine will be damaged.     I sent you a copy of the estimate and the invoice we sent to the customer.         If you have any questions, please contact me as there were a number of issues that needed to be addressed with this situation.       Sean [redacted] Road Ready Truck & Trailer Repair LLC ###-###-#### fax ###-###-#### shop ###-###-#### Cell
