I am in receipt of the above referenced Complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] with your office. Please direct any and all future communications concerning this matter to my attention at the address below. Roadmaster Drivers School of Indiana, Inc. ("Roadmaster"), operates a postsecondary Commercial...

Driver Training School located at 3016 Bluff Road, Indianapolis, IN 46217. The School is currently licensed through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Roadmaster's program consists of 160 clock hours of hands-on training to include classroom, pad and over-the-road training, to prepare individuals to take the Commercial Driver's License Examination. Mr. [redacted] enrolled in Roadmaster's program on or about February 16, 2015. Mr. [redacted] attended Roadmaster's program from February 16, 2015 through March 13, 2015. Mr. [redacted] did not show up for training as scheduled on Monday, March 16, 2015.                  Upon contacting the hotel, Roadmaster discovered that Mr. [redacted] had checked out of the hotel. Based upon the information from the hotel and Mr. [redacted]'s failure to return to training as scheduled, Mr. [redacted] was involuntarily withdrawn from Roadmaster's Program on March 16, 2015. Mr. [redacted] never notified Roadmaster of his decision not to return to training. Mr. [redacted] received approximately 201 clock hours of training, 41 clock hours of training beyond that which Roadmaster was contractually obligated to provide. As with any educational institution, the student is ultimately responsible for the successful completion of all course requirements and ultimate licensure. Per the Enrollment Agreement signed by Mr. [redacted], Roadmaster does not guarantee employment and Roadmaster does not guarantee that students will ultimately obtain a CDL. Mr. [redacted]'s Complaint identifies problems with the issuance of his CDL Permit after he misplaced his initial Permit. The CDL Permit is issued by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Roadmaster has no control whatsoever regarding the issuance of CDL Permits by an agency of the State of Indiana. Likewise, Roadmaster has no control over a State of Indiana Third Party Test Site such as [redacted], and whether or not they will accept a State issued CDL Permit. Roadmaster assisted Mr. [redacted] in obtaining a corrected CDL Permit, however Roadmaster was not responsible for any alleged issues with Mr. [redacted]'s CDL Permit issued by the State of Indiana. Mr. [redacted] alleges that Roadmaster purposefully postponed testing for Mr. [redacted]. Roadmaster does not control the testing schedule at [redacted] or any other Third Party Test Site, and obtains testing slots as such are made available to Roadmaster's Students. Mr. [redacted] alleges that a man named "Damon", requested that Mr. [redacted] wear a wire during his CDL Exam at [redacted]. Mr. Damon C[redacted] is the former Director of Training for Roadmaster. Upon receipt of Mr. [redacted]'s Complaint, Mr. C[redacted] was contacted and questioned concerning Mr. [redacted]'s accusation. Mr. C[redacted] denied Mr. [redacted]'s allegation and denied ever having asked any Student to wear a wire or other recording device during a CDL Examination. At no point did Mr. [redacted] report these allegations to the School Director prior to the filing of his Complaint. Mr. [redacted] also alleges that Roadmaster's equipment "wouldn't stay in gear they were so worn out". Roadmaster's equipment is inspected on an annual basis by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles for compliance with applicable training and testing regulations. Mr. [redacted] also takes issue with the hotel arrangements which were coordinated by Roadmaster. Out of area Students are at all times free to book their own accommodations should they so wish. Roadmaster maintains a relationship with a local hotel as a convenience to its Students.                  The hotel in which Mr. [redacted] was placed is a licensed hotel within the State of Indiana. Roadmaster has not received any complaints from other students concerning the hotel or the allegations raised by Mr. [redacted]. Additionally, Mr. [redacted] never voiced such complaints or concerns to Roadmaster's School Director while he was in school. To Roadmaster's knowledge, Mr. [redacted] never contacted local law enforcement concerning any alleged illegal activities occurring at the hotel during his stay.Roadmaster has provided Mr. [redacted] with over 200 clock hours of training, which is approximately 25% more training time than what Roadmaster contractually agreed to provide. Roadmaster was willing to provided additional training time to Mr. [redacted] in order to help him succeed in passing the CDL Exam, however Mr. [redacted] elected to simply not return to School to receive additional training. Roadmaster has provided all agreed upon educational services to Mr. [redacted].Thank you for your attention to this matter and the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s allegations. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the foregoing, please do not hesitate to contact my office directly at (727) 342-6420 ext. 1237.Respectfully, Donald E.
