I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Valley Roadrunner offered me a complimentary ad to run in any choice of their papers as fix for the original article complaint (see attached email- first they told me I had insertion choices, then they told me I only had a 1/page choice, yet I always purchased a 1/page)They also offered to run the revised article in their QVC Magazine along with a second ad I had already paid forI had had a discussion with *** the week prior about the article and he assured me he would oversee how things were placed in the VC MagazineThe day of the magazine deadline I was emailed by ***, informing me that a second article- another mobile dog groomer- would be running with my article in the same magazine issueIt seemed as though this was something that should have been mentioned earlier when I spoke with ***They had already informed me that the revised article online would not be brought "current" so subscribers could see the article's error revisions (see attached)They also informed me that they would not be re-printing the revised article with fixed errors in the paper the original article was published in-- so why now were they choosing to place my article in the magazine with another article of a competitor? If it were something they worked out with this grooming business a while before, then I would have had no problem waiting my turn for the revised article to be placed in another magazine issue, but this was never offeredI was clearly getting different stories from different people (*** and ***) about the article- it was at this point that I decided I did not want to pay and place a second adI felt uncomfortable with the way they were choosing to handle the situation with the article- not because there were to be groomer ads in the same magazineThey refunded me the second ad's $I knew they would be pulling the ad, but they also chose to pull the articleThey chose not to stand by what they offered me, which was the complimentary ad in any of the papers of my choice, nor did they follow up about the offer. Since they are choosing to not work any further with me, then my previous request of having them run the complimentary ad they offered is clearly off the table per their response to youFair results would be for them to refund the Qad they did run of $360- which would be equal to the complimentary ad they offered, but never ran.Since I contacted you, I received a call from *** screaming at me over the phone to the point where I was forced to hang upThey have also pulled the revised article off of their website altogether. Subscription canceled and refund of $was issued to Visa ending in ***

The Valley Roadrunner ran a feature article for the business in which the owner wasn't happy with. We know for fact the article brought her business, as our office received calls asking for their contact information.  We offered to let the business owner either correct or re-write her own...

version. She chose to re-write the entire article herself, which we ran online. The first ad was run in our Q3 [redacted].  The 2nd ad requested by this client would have run in our Q4 [redacted], but was pulled at the request of the client since she "felt uncomfortable" having more than one Mobile Grooming businesses in the magazine.  This client wanted to be the only mobile grooming business ad in the magazine.  We already refunded her Q4 magazine ad since it was pulled, but we will not be refunding her Q3 ad since it ran with no problems. At no time did we ever offer to run a "free ad" for this client, and we reserve the right to refuse to do business with this client.

When the subscription order was placed online by the subscriber, he entered his address in the incorrect fields of the online subscription form. When our office was notified (via website contact form on Oct 12) by the subscriber that he did not receive his subscription, we checked his account and...

determined the address was entered in incorrectly. Our office manager corrected the address for the subscriber and responded to his email informing of such. We also contacted the local post office, if his paper was returned for that day of the correct address.  The next issue the subscriber would receive is this weeks issue, which would arrive in his mailbox on Friday, October 20.  Today, Monday, October 16 our office manager received two additional emails from the subscriber, one from yesterday (Sunday, office closed), and another today (Monday) threatening he would contact Revdex.com if we do not provide a refund within 7 days. Today, Monday October 16, a voicemail was left for our receptionist traced to the subscribers work line, using inappropriate language. Our office manager sent a follow-up email to subscriber to clarify we are a weekly paper, not a daily, and how he would like to proceed. [redacted]r, publisher
