On 8/12/I took a perfectly operating vehicle into Roadrunner The truck will not run now I am picking it up today to take to another mechanic via wrecker I have been advised by multiple mechanics not to drive the vehicle until it is inspected further to see what the damage is....a second opinion. After receiving the complaint from the Revdex.com, ***, owner of Roadrunner, informed me through many choice words that if I showed up to get my truck "I might drive in but he would make sure that I drug myself out with broken legs" He called me ***'s, **'s, and threatened to whip my *** multiple times He refused to work with me and refund any partial or full payment that I had given him He informed me that I brought in a piece of *** and expected him to fix it Again, I ask the question of his expert staff: If the vehicle was in such bad shape why work on it at all? The whole time they are telling me the motor is done his sales team is trying to upsale two cam sensors that they claim might help the truck FACT IS: They don't know what they did to mess up the timing, firing, or operation of my truck They refuse to help me without saying that it will cost to fix the truck that was in good shape when I took it in They continue to claim that I brought in a truck that was blown up

I am rejecting this response because: I had the truck picked up by wrecker and taken to another shop where we found that spark plugs had never been changed Also a fourth plug was still full of a chemical that Roadrunner had used trying to eliminate a broken plug Once the plugs were replaced and the blasting agent removed from the fourth cylinder my truck only now runs perfectly Roadrunner owes me a refund on four plugs and a wrecker usage.

Mr. [redacted] brought his car in on 8/28/2017.  At that time he requested the hood latch cable be replaced and wanted us to figure out why the timing was off on his Mustang and "get it running right".  The timing cover was off, air cleaner was off, we weren't sure if he had all the right parts...

internally.  He advised it was his project car and his wife didn't want him spending more money on this car.  He indicated not to go over $500.  Mr. [redacted] was advised of our labor rate.  Mr. [redacted] called multiple times checking status on this vehicle and was well aware of the progress and condition of the vehicle.  On 9/1/2017, Mr. [redacted] was advised we had 8 hours in diagnostics checks etc. but would like to special order spark plugs and he said o.k.  We installed new spark plugs, gapped the new plugs, check his timing belt, cleaned as much as possible on the MAP sensor, reconnected his air cleaner box and intake tube.  Mr. [redacted] was informed he has an oil leak and that the car was running better but still has a hesitation.  At that point, Mr. [redacted] advised all he had done to the car himself and "he wasn't sure if the wiring was right or even if the parts he put on the car were right".  He explained that the computer to the car may not be right or the sensors he put in may not be right.  We had 9.25 hrs labor on this vehicle however he is only being charged for 6 and the parts that were installed.  Mr. [redacted] was aware of the parts and approved them.  He did indicate not to go over $500 and we are honoring that request.

This vehicle was NOT brought in "perfectly operating" as indicated.  The customer indicated he knew plugs and coil packs were needed as it was missing at 65 mph.  He was so sure of his diagnosis that he provided his own parts for replacement.  The vehicle was noted to be missing upon arrival.  The customer continues to ask if the vehicle was in such bad shape why did we work on it at all---response--he brought the plugs and coil packs and we changed them as he requested.  Please note once again-he had already taken it to 2 other shops who changed 1 spark plug each and refused to do any further work on it---so that would indicate there was a problem as well.  The customer gave us the ok to diagnose the vehicle further but when he was advised that he could have other problems he immediately began slandering our business on Google and reporting us to the Revdex.com.  No further work or diagnosis was done.

Mr. [redacted] scheduled an appointment to have his plugs and coil packs replaced.  He indicated he knew that was needed because at 65 mph it was missing.  Mr. [redacted] provided his own parts.  The spark plugs were OEM Motorcraft plugs however the coils were Chinese made coils purchased...

online.  The vehicle has 204K miles.  Prior to coming to our shop, the customer indicated that he had taken the vehicle to 2 other repair facilities, each changed one spark plug and refused to continue repairs.  We brought the vehicle in it was noted that the vehicle was missing very bad.  We checked the 2 plugs that had already been replaced, they appeared to be ok and we reinstalled and applied anti seize.  Upon removing the other spark plugs which were very old and brittle they began to come apart.  We have a tool that removes broken spark plugs in full and that was used to remove the remainder of the broken plugs.  The mechanic noted the vehicle was still missing upon completion but the work requested by the customer was done.  The owner informed the customer he would need additional time for Roadrunner to diagnose the vehicle.  Up to this point, the customer had diagnosed as he felt appropriate.  The customer agreed to leave the vehicle and allow Roadrunner additional time to perform a thorough diagnostic check.  Upon further diagnostic work up, it was determined that the vehicle had low compression in cylinder 2 & 3 which would cause his miss.  Roadrunner did exactly what the customer requested with the parts the customer provided.
