Just had my driveway done I can't speak yet for the longevity of the product but the job itself was done very wellThe thickness of the pad seems substantialThe whole crew was professional and did a heck of a jobIt looks fantastic and both Henry and Lance went above and beyond They stressed over and over that the quality of their work was a top priority Definitely not like one of those fly-by-night operations They did enough that I actually felt compelled to write a review and I would have no problem recommending them

Review: I have called them 14 times and stopped them at another Job 3 times in a 9 mounth period and they say they will fix my driveway in 2 weeks. the last time they said they would seal it for free to make me happy. there is grass coming up through the Blacktop and the edge is cracking away.Desired Settlement: Repair Driveway

I used Henry, and his crew did a fine job. My experience was positive and he showed up on the day they said they would, and communicated well with me. They returned my calls, and work well together as a team. Fair price with discounts.

Review: Had them install paving on my driveway in oct, they gave me a contract that states I have a 1yr warranty. my paving is now sinking, flaking, and cracking. I have made numerous attempts to contact them to get this resolved with no avail. I currently have put sealer on it to stop the damage from happening further.Desired Settlement: fix or replace issues, if they don't want to do that the some sort of compensation to have someone else fix it.

Review: Roadstar came to our business on 4/8/2015 uninvited and corresponded with one of our employees about extra asphalt for paving. They entered our business and we had agreed with them to patch a few holes we had in the lot. They did not quote a price just stated it would be $3.50 a sq ft. They were only suppose to fill some holes we had in the back of our lost as well as the front. We has a similar company from PA fill in holes for us a year ago and the quote was for $1500.00. I had to run to a appointment and came back and they paved not only holes but sections of the lot and provided a invoice for $7,200.00. for over 2000 sq ft when it should have been only 250 -300 the most. We did not want the additional paving done and feel we were mislead and taken advantage of by this company.Desired Settlement: We didnt approve of there additional work so they can return to our address and remove the extra paving that we did not authorize or all the paving. For a company that does not give you a quote then blind sides you with a outrageous price when the job is complete is not a good business practice. We will not pay for services we did not commit to.

Roadstar Paving did a great job on our driveway and was willing to do what it took to make any issues right.

Review: Hired Road Star Paving February 10 , 2016. They repaired some areas of existing blacktop and added a new area of black top for parking. They skimmed the grass off area for parking and applied herbicide. We questioned why lime rock would not need to be put down, he replied the surface would be hard packed by their piece of equipment and would be no need for it. We were worried at the time about it sinking and grass growing through, he of course said that would be no problem. Within 10 days grass was breaking through the new blacktop and of course crumbling it. Called Road Star to tell them what was happening only to be informed that they didn't cover that problem. He stated that it's on the receipt, they don't guarantee crumbling or undergrowth. Of course receipt wasn't given until they had check for job. Several phone calls to the owner by us regarding the problem only to be ignored. Finally only after threatening to call DPR did I get a call back from him. Mr W[redacted]. He agreed to give a portion of the money back. He'd have his receptionist Goldie call to get information and send money order, receipt had address on it, stall tactic?. Goldie did call but nothing has come of it since initial phone call. This is a lot of money to any small business and to put more out for repairs is upsetting. I've had blacktop done before and never have I had this problem, of course lime rock was used and have never had a problem.Desired Settlement: I'm not asking for full refund, but would like back enough to make the necessary repairs and the time spent now pursuing this matter!!!!

Review: We had our driveway paved by Roastar on 5/8/2014. Don M[redacted] who was in charge told us he would seal our driveway for $900 cash. He has never sealed our driveway. We have called him numerous times and he always says I'll be out Saturday, but he has never showed up. Recently we told him we wanted our money back and he said he would return it on Saturday, but again no show. We have had enough.Desired Settlement: If they won't finish the job we would like a full refund.

Review: I had my drive way paved. My father did the handling of the calls and setting up initially, [redacted] from road star paving did not show up or call him back several times after he took the job. He had excuses such as my child got stitches, I'm very busy with another job. Well the job finally got done months later. Well the pavement then got a bubble. I contacted him told him he said they stand by their work and he would be by to take a look. Told me to text him my address and gave me a day and time. He then switched it on me which was fine but only because I had actually called to confirm and he said oh sorry I can't make it can we do this tomorrow. He did not show up. I told him I was very disappointed. He told me his child had stitches I said funny you told my father the same story before when you didn't show up before. He then told me he would be out in two weeks on a Thursday or Friday. I text him the Wednesday before to conform he did not reply I called Thursday and he didn't answer I called the business to which no one answered so I left a message and called him again an he said Hun I'm **ing the best I can. I told him if you aren't there tomorrow I am turning you into the Revdex.com an he hung up.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund since he can not handle his business and can't even call to cancel and reschedule. I have been blow off missed my own things to be therefor him to not show and it's getting ridiculous. He obviously can't show up or run a business or an unhappy customer since he hung up on me for being mad about him not showing up for the umpteenth time.

Review: door to door salesman says he has extra asphalt from a local job. says he can cut a deal then when he is here performinng the job the price goes up. I found out after the fact that this is a scam that has happened in [redacted]Desired Settlement: Not to have to pay for an incomplete and unprofessional job

The drive was paved. The sealant was paid for. They have not arrived to seal the driveway. The contract states sealant to be applied May 9th, 2015. We are still waiting. I have called and they stated they would arrive to seal the driveway to no avail.

Review: Roadstar Paving performed driveway asphalt installation at our residence in December 2014 through March 2014. We have paid invoices and cancelled checks to substantiate. There are several workmanship issues with this job that Roadstar is aware of. They have made two visits to our residence to inspect the problem areas and have assured us verbally that they will remedy the workmanship issues. That was last July. They have never been back. They do not answer their phones nor do they return my calls. I am also considering complaining to the Attorney General of the State of Ohio and the Federal Trade Commission since this work is interstate.Desired Settlement: We need Roadstar to remedy their workmanship issues or refund the money we paid them for this paving work. We invested several thousand dollars in this work.

Review: I had Roadstar black top my driveway and have two areas of concern that are already failing. In August I sent a letter to the business after finding one phone number on their website was no longer in service and the other had a mailbox that was always full. I sent cc to Pa Revdex.com and Md Revdex.com. [redacted] contacted me and so did Goldie from Roadstar. Goldie assured me the situation would be repaired by no later than the second week of Sept. I chose to wait until today to give them extra time. I called the number she left and the mailbox was full again. I contacted [redacted] at Revdex.com and she informed me the next step was an official complaint. I have spent almost $10,000 on my driveway and still have more footage to complete.Desired Settlement: I want the broken area of the drive way repaired although that will leave a new seam it is better than what I have and the area where the topcoat is breaking down I want that repaired too.

They did a great job on my driveway I could never be happier they preformed the work all in one day!!! Me and my wife highly recommend this company
