Revdex.com of San Diego Murphy Canyon, SteSan Diego, CA Roadway Auto Towing P.OBox Escondido, CA To Whom It May Concern: Roadway Auto Towing is writing in response to customer concern ID # Dear Miss [redacted] & Revdex.com, As a roadside assistance provider Roadway Towing provides roadside assistance for disabled vehicles such as jump starts, tire changes and towingAt times our customers are unable to wait with the vehicle, in which they are offered or will request an unattended towIn the event the customer is not present, it is then suggested to leave the keys with the vehicle so the tow operator would be able tow the vehicle at the desired place or repairIn many cases, our customers prefer to lock the keys inside the vehicle instead of leaving the vehicle unlocked with the keys visibleThe tow operator is given the vehicle information in which then proceeds to tow the vehicle once he verifies with dispatch the vehicle informationAs we tow unattended vehicles often, the tow operators do experience neighbors from preventing the tow operators from picking up the vehicle assuming the tow operator is repossessing or impounding their neighbor’s car, as Roadway Towing only tows for roadside assistance and law enforcement Unfortunately, there was some confusion on our tow operator’s behalf as he was assigned the same vehicle description as the same location Our administrative staff is very receptive and genuinely concerned when a complaint may arise and is brought to our attentionThis is not practices for our dispatch staff not to inform management of any issues that may arise Roadway Auto Towing would like to express our deepest regret for any inconvenience Miss [redacted] experienced Roadway Auto Towing and their staff would like to also send their sincerest apologizes to Miss [redacted] for any misunderstanding or miscommunication as management will be contacting Miss [redacted] regarding the incident Cordially, [redacted] Roadway Auto Towing

We can do a full refund if our old interstate battery is given back to usWe use the same tester AAA roadside doesSo we stand behind our battery testerIf the tester says it's good then it will be a good battery

Needed roadside assistance/towing service Originally, I was told that a tow truck will be over to me in an hour An hour passes by and no tow truck in sight so I called the company to follow up on the tow truck When I called, I was put on hold and immediately hung up on Called back subsequently and put on hold again Then, hung up on a second time Called back a third time, and was put on hold for about minutes to tell me that it was going to be ANOTHER HOUR after waiting for more than an hour already plus the 15minutes that I was put on hold I had asked and stated if I was told that it was going to take hours from the get go then I would have been fine but that was not the caseInstead, the guy who I was talking to named *** said that it's a Monday and that they're backed up and I said that I understood When I asked to speak to the manager, I was very unfortunate when Frank had told that he is the manager and that he is done with me When I had previously mentioned that I called a couple of times and got hung up on both times, once by him, Frank said sarcastically that he cannot stop the world for me And I replied with saying that I know he can't stop the world because no one can...I mean, if you're stranded in the middle of nowhere and in need a tow truck company, I strongly do not recommend Roadway Auto Towing The manager out of all people is very rude, uncaring and disrespectful Do yourself a favor and find yourself a different towing/roadside assistance company Stay safe and lock yourself in your car because ***-enstein might get you Additionally, I really don't even want to give it a star but yelp requires you to at least give it a one star rating!!!!!!!

I had the same horrible experience with this company as the many, many other people complaining about them. My truck broke down on I-15 near Escondido and USAA contacted them to tow my truck. I was sick so I had to get a ride home and my roommate stayed with the truck and waited for the tow. Two hours went by and no tow truck. My roommate called and [redacted] answered the phone, and not only did she not let him even ask her anything, she hung up on him. I called and she did the same thing to me. She would not let me get a word in edgewise and hung up on me. I called back and said, "Did you hang up on me?" She said she put me on hold, but she didn't tell me she was. I said, "You really need to tell people when you put them on hold or they think you have hung up on them." She said something rude and hung up on me again. I called back and said you keep hanging up on me and not giving me a chance to ask...before I could finish my sentence she hung up on me again. I called back and said "You hung up on me again. Slow down and listen." She interrupted me, yelling at me, so I told her to shut up and listen. She hung up on me again. So I called back and said I was going to complain to USAA and make sure they don't use them anymore. I called USAA and complained, so they are going to investigate. They told me they don't take kindly to their customers being treated so disrespectfully. Then I called her back and said, "You're toast now, babe!" I will be filing complaints with San Diego County, the Revdex.com and any other consumer advocacy organization I can think of. THEY GET 0 STARS...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...NO MATTER WHAT!!!

On behalf of Roadway Towing, I would like to apologize for your experience. We take all complaints like this seriously and work to make sure it does not happen again. One problem we tend to experience with dealerships is they do not properly document vehicles that are being brought to their...

facilities. 99% of the time when a vehicle is dropped off and keys are given to the service department the employees at the dealership tend to forget to log the vehicles in and we get calls from customers or insurance. We check our driver’s log sheets, and call drivers to ask where the vehicle was dropped. At that point, the dealership is asked to go check their facility and they end up finding the vehicle. When our dispatchers ask for an hour to figure it out, it is because we need to try to get a hold of the driver to get more information. Once again, I do apologize, but just like you, our dispatch is also in a different location and we have to try to locate all of the information as well.

Review: [redacted] was very unprofessional and rude. They towed my car in fallbrook and was to deliver it to Nissan Temecula. They supposedly towed the car but the dealership has no record of it. Living in ARIZONA I can't go and check up on the vehicle. It ruined our vacation but that is besides the point. They took 3 hours to show up for the tow which was supposed to be EMERGENCY road side assistance. [redacted] is telling me that he dropped it off there and the dealership says it isnt. [redacted] hung up the phone on me while trying to figure out where my car is. I STILL DONT KNOW WHERE MY CAR IS AND THE TOW COMING SAID THEY NEEDED AN HOUR TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THEY LEFT IT!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS????Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to take some customer service classes or maybe a mannerisms class. He either is in the wrong business or doesn't need to be in business. I'm so frustrated and being 9 months pregnant and feeling helpless .
