We purchased the Travel Club Membership for $Roark was very workable with the price of the package and their sales presentation and handling of us was a delightful experienceHowever, they only give you three days in which to decline the package offer but it takes at least five days to get a password to be able to use the serviceBy chance we called and told the travel expert what our situation was and asked if he could take us through a simulated process of buying a vacation package that we really wantedThe upshot was that the sales agent told us that "hot spot" deals were really laughable and things that the sales presenter would use to sway our decisionWhen he finally gave us the price of the property we were looking for it was the same price we could get on [redacted] Then, in vetting the company through Revdex.com in Missouri, we found too many complaints that seemed to be either open or not resolved to the customer's satisfactionToo many red flags! As we were still within our hour window I went to the office and requested decline of the package and immediate refund of our paymentWarren, the finance manager, was very kind and willing to accept our request and immediately refunded everything we had paid inThough we would never use this travel club and still have reservations as to their ability to fulfill what they promise our overall sales experience was top notch! Great group of people to work with; very kind, personal and concerned

While on vacation in Branson back in October 2014 we bought into the Roark Vacation Travel Club. We shared the cost with friends of ours and were very excited about the discounts we would be able to get on vacations and that we can share this with family members. Needless to say we were ripped off!! As the first year went by and we called to get prices on places we wanted to go they could not come up with those huge savings. We got better deals doing it ourselves on line. Then when I went on the Saver Express site to check deals it said our annual fee was due. Never did any of us get an e-mail or letter in telling us about it. After talking things over we decided not to put any more money into this scam. I have messaged Roark to express our disappoint, and yes we would love to get some of our money back since they never came though with the savings they promised us but I do not if we have much of a chance of that happening since so much time has passed. When I think of our vacation in Branson and all the talk of God, family and service to our county having Roark doing business in your city and ripping people off just makes it a big joke.
