I am rejecting this response because:  On 9/26, we met with a contractor that had done some work for our...

friends.  He looked at the windows and said that there was nothing w[redacted]g with the windows as [redacted] was trying to state was the source of the leaking.  This new contractor went in where the middle dormer is and once inside there he could see where the water stains and where the water was coming down the wood.  Mr. [redacted] did not even want to even of into the middle dormer area to inspect.  Then, he went on the roof and saw the source of the leaking.  There is a cracked shingle  - the felt under the shingle was soaking wet.  An ice guard should also have been used on the roof.  The cost to fix the leak and the shingle is at least $600.We have received the response from Mr. [redacted] but have not yet heard from him as he stated that he would call us. Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence in Mr. [redacted] and his quality of work.  We feel it is best that since Mr. [redacted] has not been responsive to our requests and being able to pinpoint the source of the leak, we would like to request that he cover the costs of another contractor to fix the shingle and the leaking at our home. If he wishes to call us, he must do so by the end of today 9/28 to discuss the options available for him to resolve this issue.  While the weather is nice, we want this leaking and shingle fixed immediately before any further rains.

There is nothing wrong with our work, the existing issue was completed by someone else. Our company had nothing to do with her roof.
