Matthews installed a gas pack approximately June 2012 it was installed incorrectly he never got a permit he never got it reinspected when he came back out after it failed inspection, to look at it again we were very Angry and had a big fight and he stole all of the vapor barrier plastic (3 layers ) from my crawlspace which I did not find out about until over two years later and I have approximately $8000 of rotting wood and damage under my house the wake County sheriffs department has investigated it and he has Lied and said he did not take the plastic but my wife saw him take the plastic we have been recommended to sue him in civil court the state licensing board has a very long list of violations against him and I have a complaint and my neighbor has a complaint he never drawls a permit he never pays for inspection or reinspection. I want to make this aware to you my name is [redacted]. He does have a license for HVAC ....number [redacted] ....he just got off probation in April 2014 one year probation he has a long list of misconduct and not getting inspections or paying for inspections. The licensing board is aware of my complaint and my neighbors complaint and several other complaints in the past my hope is that they revoke his license and he will not be able to work in the HVAC industry. Hopefully after I get through with him in civil court I can get him to repay for the damages that he created under my house or the sheriff will take his property and auction it to repay me. I also lost the sale of my house due to his misconduct and theft. I had a signed contract on the house and when the buyer had it inspected that was when the damage was found out[redacted] HVAC stole the plastic vapor barrier, the last person that was ever under my house was him! Desired SettlementThe resolution is after I get the crawlspace fixed from the damage that he caused that he pays that bill I do not have an exact total at this time because it is being worked on right now... It will be minimum $5000Also Mr. [redacted] HVAC will have to pay me for the heating and air company house call and any work they do to fix his bad work. they are coming out this week to inspect his work and then pay the $60 for the county to come inspect it. Keep in mind Mr. [redacted] needed an electrician to make this unit work it is required in the failure report from the county inspector he never used a licensed electrician and he does not have an electrical license he hooked it up on his own breaking the rules
