John wrote this complaint the same day that the office manager was going to call him with a date and time for the follow up meetingAfter reading the complaint, the owner was contacted and agreed to refund Mr [redacted] the $This has been doneWhat customers have to understand at the start of construction season is that they are not the only customers and it takes time to coordinate all the moving parts to a clients projectThis project included needing a structural analysis from the architect as well as getting a landscape plan We are sadden by the outcome of this situationProgress was being made on the project he asked forPlease consider this case closed

Nov Here is my revised responseI never received a call or email from RussellMy email did change and my new email is now ***My phone number is the same *** *** ***I dealt with this company for a long time so I dont understand why I never received a phone messageWhile I appreciate the company wanting to care of the issues when I spoke with Russell he wanted to charge me for the repairsHe states the project is under warranty but me paying for the repairs is unacceptableUnless things have changedI am more than willing to talk with Russell however I never received a callThank you *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am writing this to protect other consumers so they dont have the same experiencePlease refer to the pictures posted on *** *** which will give you a better idea of the poor quality of work that was done on our homeRussell P*** the owner came to our home and we ended up choosing the products he recommended which were expensive but we trusted him that these products were top notchThe project was $10,for laminate floors throughout most of the home and carpet in the two bedroomsAfter the floor was installed there were problems with the quarter roundAlot of pieces were not cut right and nailed to the floorThe floor was not prepped and installed correctlyThe transition pieces looked awfulWe asked for more transition pieces but Russell wanted to charge us for them even though it was his contractors faultWe asked numerous and numerous times to correct these issues and they never wereThere is a part of the floor that is sagging and Russell ignored itThere are boards coming up now because the floor wasnt installed correctlyWe just gave up on getting these issues correctedWe had to practically beg for someone to come out and fix anything which it wasn'tThe same goes for the carpetIt took months for someone to come out and install the carpetThe contractor that came out left a huge seam right in the middle of the master bedroomWhen we complained enough Russell finally came out and looked at itHe said it was acceptable and reasonable by industry standards and it would be acceptable in his own homeRussell sent someone over to try and fix the seamThe company was shocked and said the contractor did such a poor job all of the carpet needed to be replacedWhen we told Rusell that he had a company come out and try to sell us new carpetThis person like the other company was totally shocked by the poor installation and had the same remedyReplace all of the carpet because the seam was so horrible it couldn't be fixedThe contractors Russell hires are unprofessional and incompetentWe only paid him because we wanted him out of our houseHe only cares about getting his moneyWhen he wants to collect he will be at your doorstopAny other time forget itHe always has some excuse why he didnt contact youWe are going to have to use our own money which is completely unfair and atrocious considering the amount of money we gave himAfter we filed a complaint with the Revdex.com that finally got his attentionRussells remedy was to charge us for everything even though he stated everything is under warrantyHe did offer us a remedy to charge us $to remove the old carpet and he would cover the cost of the new carpetWe initially said noHe then offered to pay us $We said yes but then thought about it more and told him we would accept the original offer because in the end we just wanted it fixed because the seam was so ridiculous and you see it immediately when you enter the bedroomRussell then told us no he is not willing to work with us anymore and gave us a deadline to accept the moneyHe said if we dont accept the money he threatened us with a lawsuit for slander and libelAs part of that offer we were not to post anything on social mediaWe never slandered or libeled himRussell doesnt want things posted because he knows its the truthWe declined the $and thought it was more important to educate consumersPlease refer to the pictures on *** *** for the "acceptable and reasonable work" that was done on our homeThank you for taking the time to read thisSincerely *** ***

In response to this complaint, we have called and got no answer, so we left a message. We have also sent her an email stating that her project is still under warranty and asked what we could do to correct this situation. Customer has not responded. We would like to work with her to get this issue...

Progress was being made on the project he asked for. Please consider this case closed.
