Robbins Auto Top

I bought a Robbins top for a 2012 Miata through The Miami Corporation of Ohio. Customer service at both companies was excellent and my top fit beautifully. I'm extremely pleased.

I ordered a top for my 80 TR7 back in Oct 2020 from M&T Mfg/ Convertible Top Guys to be mfd by Robbins. I got the install pkg (instructions) in November then the actual top sometime in December. Once the weather cleared ( warm day) the install began only to discover there were no snaps included. I called M&T and an effort was made by their employee (Caitlyn) to contact Robbins on my behalf. She was never able to get them to return her calls. I called myself on at least 2 occasions. The last time after being placed on hold for roughly 15-20 minutes their employee came back on the phone and said she would get the snaps in the mail. It’s March 1, 2021 and I still have no snaps and a partially installed top.

This is one company you might want to avoid doing business with if this is how they treat customers.

Review: I purchased a replacement convertible top from this company March, 2012. The poor design of the convertible top, with two exposed brackets and screws caused a hole to wear in the top and three more are about to wear completely through, as well.There is a bracket along the top, right above the head of the driver and passenger. On that bar is two brackets, approximately 2 inches long, with two sheet metal screws,( the flat part of the screw is what has worn the hole and threatening to wear three more. I have the photos if needed.Desired Settlement: I placed four phone calls to the company, who assures me that a customer service representative will return my call..I never received one.I emailed the company, with a description of the issue. They responded and requested a picture of the issue. I sent that to them on August 28, 2015.Since then, I have sent two additional emails and two additional phone calls inquiring about my situation.I have not received any replies from this company.

Review: Robbins auto will not accept this return. box has been opened but know items removed from box I looked in the top and seen it was not what I had ordered and close the box back up.Robbins said " It was a custom item of white and therefore they will not accept the return."The add on the computer stated" frame sewed in." However no door frame was included.I JUST WANT TO RETURN THE ITEM.I do a lot of classic car work. From now on bobbins Auto is off my business list.Desired Settlement: Have Robbins auto take back the wrong item.In addition to that have them change their advertisement. SO other gullible persons will not fall into the same category I am in.

Review: I had purchased a TN7312 Robbins convertible top for my 1992 Chevy Cavalier. Paid for it on their website, and received the top a month later. The top I received was the wrong color. This company has a return policy, and I called and spoke to someone about making an exchange. They said it was no problem, and when they received the wrong top from me, the would send me the correct top, since I had a store credit after my return. I shipped with UPS and even got a delivery confirmation and the last name of who signed for my return. I called the company to confirm their receipt, but got no answer. I have called over 30 times and left multiple messages, but have never heard from them again. I have a credit of approximately $400 that has not been fulfilled.Desired Settlement: Either a refund or a replacement
