Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it is non responsive to the issue of my request for a cash refund with the receipt As I have previously stated, this item was a gift and I want the value of the gift given to me, not credited to the purchaser's credit card Their receipt does not state that this is their policy It does state 'Cash refunds only with receipt.' I will not be able to scan in the actual receipt until I am next in Montana, probably in March The item with receipt is sitting in our second home, since I wasn't about to trust these rude people and leave it in the R [redacted] ' possession without getting a refund at the time Both MsBunny R [redacted] and her husband (she is the 'owner' and he is the 'manager') were rude, derisive, laughing, and very unprofessional in my contact with them MsR [redacted] 'hung up' on me when I attempted to followup my in-person contact in the store by telephoning her She is the reason we 'couldn't even discuss.' The item has never even been removed from its packaging, I have the original receipt, and they are just trying to be obstructionist in the hope that I will give up and just keep this big-ticket item They've already delayed resolution beyond their days deadline for refunds, and will probably try to use that as their next excuse I will not just let this go Small claims court is next unless they send me a letter stating that upon presentation of the item and receipt, I will receive a full cash refund on the spot Sincerely, [redacted]

We were only too glad to give Mrs [redacted] s a refund Her husband paid for the item with a credit card and we just asked for that credit card She said she wanted cash, but it has to be put back on the original credit card or we give store credit Also, we did not mentioned the item was on sale to her as we were glad to accommodate her because it was a Christmas gift Our sales receipts have printed on them: No returns after days of purchase; No returns on Sale and Seasonal items; and so on, which doesn’t apply to this transaction We were sorry she was upset, but we were unable to reason with her or given even a chance to talk or present our side We said she could leave the item here as she was traveling and she could have her husband call when he arrived at his destination and we would give his card credit for the item I’m sorry we could not appease her wishes Sincerely, Bunny R [redacted]
