We have been using their services since 2017 after our insurance used them for ant treatment in our home. Their service was excellent at that time that we decided to get their plan for treatment every 2 months. I guess, there has been a change in management because we noticed that their technicians did not even keep their appointments after we set them up. Whenever we call the office, is there is someone who picks up the phone, it us always this person who is rude, nasty, & slams the phone whenever he didn't like what we had to say. The last straw was when we scheduled a treatment in Dec 2018. I asked the person to have the technican call me when he is on the way so I can make sure that someone is at home, downstairs to open the door immediately. He said he will. The technician came, rang the Ring doorbell (we have a Ring doorbell & a regular doorbell), the Ring goes directly to our phone so if I don't have my phone, I won't know that someone is at the door. When I reviewed the video, the guy came, rang the bell once/2x & left. I was just in the kitchen that time, did not hear the bell. He did not even have the courtesy to call or ring the regular doorbell. I called their office, no one answered. Then we went out of the country for 2 mos, when we got back, I found a bill from ***. I tried to call their office, no answer. After several tries, someone answered, the same persm, who said that the bill stays as I haven't called after the supposed service. I tried to explain that I did try until I couldn't because we were out of the country. He got really nasty, told me that he will cancel the account & the bill stays even though service has not been done. I will not pay for any service that has not been made.

DEAR MRS., WE HAVE YOUR COMPLAINT WITH AN ID OF ***. WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE APRIL 1997 AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A COMPLAINT FROM YOUR OFFICE. WE PERFORM PEST CONTROL SERVICES IN THE RIVERSIDE AND SAN *** COUNTIES.

WHEN WE SCHEDULE A PEST CONTROL CALL WE ALWAYS CALL THE CUSTOMER THE DAY BEFORE AND GIVE THEM A TWO HOUR TIME PERIOD OF WHEN WE WILL BE AT THEIR HOME. (MOST OTHER COMPANIES ONLY PERFORM THEIR SERVICE ON A CERTAIN DAY OF THE MONTH, FIRST MONDAY ETC., WITHOUT A PHONE CALL). SINCE MOST CUSTOMERS ARE NOT HOME DURING THE DAY, IT IS VERY COMMON FOR US TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOME AND LEAVE A RECEIPT, UNLESS THE CUSTOMER REQUESTS SERVICE INSIDE. THE PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF THE SERVICE, OR IF THE CUSTOMER IS NOT HOME WITHIN 5 DAYS.

WE HAVE INCLUDED THE PAYMENT HISTORY FOR MRS. FOR 2018. MRS.S' PAYMENTS WERE NEVER ON TIME, RANGING FROM 5 WEEKS TO 2 MONTHS LATE. WHEN WE CALLED HER IN FEBRUARY 2019 FOR HER FEBRUARY 2019 SERVICE SHE ADVISED US THAT SHE WAS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THE DECEMBER 2018 SERVICE (TWO MONTHS LATE) AND WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE FEBRUARY 2019 PAYMENT, CLAIMING THAT SHE WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE DECEMBER SERVICE. SHE DID NOT NOTIFY OUR OFFICE AND STATES THAT SHE WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR TWO MONTHS.

SHE STATES THAT THE TECHNICIAN RANG THE DOOR BELL TWICE BUT SHE DID NOT HEAR IT? USUALLY IF A CUSTOMER IS NOT HAPPY WITH OUR SERVICE, THEY NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY, NOT TWO MONTHS LATER, WHICH BY THEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DETERMINE IF THE WORK WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY.

IF YOU REFER TO THE ENCLOSED SUMMARY YOU CAN SEE THAI' THERE WAS A SIMILAR COMPLAINT IN JUNE 2018 IN WHICH A CREDIT WAS APPLIED TO

HER ACCOUNT FOR $39.00 ( BAD DEBT) FOR HER APRIL 2018 SERVICE WHICH WAS NEVER PAID FOR AND NO COMPLAINT WAS RECEIVED. A CUSTOMER IS NOT LIKELY TO HAVE A PEST INFESTATION AND WAIT TWO MONTHS BEFORE REQUESTING AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE.

BASED ON THE CUSTOMER POOR PAYMENT HISTORY AND THE DELAY IN REQUESTING ADDITIONAL SERVICE AS WELL AS THE PATTERN OF REFUSING TO PAY, WE DO NOT FEEL ANOTHER CREDIT IS WARRANTED. DUE TO THE COST AND TIME INVOLVED IN FILLING A SMALL CLAIMS ACTION, WE WILL JUST KEEP THE BALANCE DUE IN OUT FILES IN THE EVENT A FUTURE SERVICE IS REQUESTED. IN THE EVENT WE WILL BE FORCED TO DEMAND FULL PAYMENT BEFORE ANY SERVICES IS PERFORMED.

PLEASE ADVISE US IF YOU REQUIRE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
