I am not sure how to respond to this complaint This complaint was submitted August 10, at 10:52pm Our company was in small claims court with the Jones on August 10, at 11:00am And we received a judgement against the JonesThe Jones still feel that they do not owe our company anything even after the Wisconsin Small Claims Court of Brown County awarded a judgement to us for almost $ Once we have received this awarded judgement the Jones may come to our facility and pick up their remaining cleaned clothing itemsThe Jones received almost $21,from their insurance company (which they have cashed) for our services based on our invoices submitted to their insurance company Please advise our of next step We feel we have followed every attempt to collect and settle this debt Sincerely, [redacted] ***, Vice President [redacted]

Customer contacted us on 12/3/15 to clean her nephews bedroom bath duplexShe stated her nephew was a heavy smoker and had a dogThis was a Christmas present for him and we were not to discuss any details with him. One of our Project Managers visited the site to inspect itThe
Project Manager contacted the client and quote a price of $and that we would require 1/down before we beginThis is where the problem beganThe Project Manager nor the Client requested anything in writingA housewide clean can mean many thingsSometimes it can mean very detailed cleaning as in fire restoration or mold remediation and sometimes it can mean a very light dustingThe customer nor us have any documentation of what services were to be provided and to what detail We received down payment of $on 12/we performed services on Our crew consisted of technicians and were on site for hours - each person. The customer complained of the baseboardsThe customer sent us photos - it is very clear from the photos that is paint - we are a cleaning company we do not restore. The customer stated we were hired to polish wood floors - the pictures that she sent to us are a laminate floor - you can not polish those only a light moist cloth can be used because you will damage the floor. Bath tub/faucets/soap dish - it is very clear from the photos the customer sent to us - there is years of neglect to the maintenance of the tub and faucets - again we can only clean we can not restore - this is rust from the water and years of mineral deposits and mold and mildew and soap sm from years of poor maintenance. Yellow spots on the walls and picture mark on wallWhen the customer called in she stated her nephew was a heavy smokerThis is nicotine on the wallsOur cleaning process does not clean the yellow stains off the walls -- is simply sets the nicotine so a paint encapsulator can be applied to encapsulate the odor and stain from bleeding through the paintThe most common types of paint/encapsulator used are binz and kilz. Usually light fixtures are not included in a housewide clean unless the customer specifically asks for itJust like windows - kitchen appliances - cabinets inside and out - blinds - drapes - there are numerous items that can or can not be done. Our Project Manager has been in contact with the client and the nephew - it has resulted in a very frustrating outcomeThe customer has been very negative with colorful language and our Project Manager is refusing to speak with her anymore because he does not feel he should be spoken to in that manner or treated in that mannerOur Project Manager did offer solutions but it resulted in more insults from the customerAt this point we feel there is nothing more we can do. So until the customer can provide a written estimate of services to be performed we will stand by our invoice and expect the remaining $with the next few daysOtherwise we will have no choice but to forward this to a collection company. Contacted Service Master 12/-spoke with I requested a full house clean walls, floors, rugs, bathroom, kitchenHe met with my nephew *** to reviewed the house - *** reported back the cost would be $I mistakenly assumed he would write up a work order*** told *** he would wait until Jan or late Feb Due to the dog being sick (and dying) and then a required business trip it didn't get scheduled until 5/Lack of a documented work order falls on the business*** could have requested information needed for the work order A crew of not arrived at 09:000am and worked until 02:00pm (hrs) On 5/I spoke with *** stating I was not pleased with the job and said I would forward pictures I provided full details of the problems with the pictures The wood floors were mopped after cleaning and still showed dirt - the crew re-cleanedThe steam wand I assumed could clean the bathroom (light fixture in there never done) I stated from the beginning that *** was a smoker - There are marks where all the pictures had been - *** has gone back and cleaned a spot to show it can still be cleanedTo me a complete kitchen clean means, appliances, cabinets, walls (including window) and floors.On 5/*** was offered the chance for a physical audit but he said he would wait for the pictures. On 6/I requested a kitchen redo and also the lights - ***'s reply was that hew needed to do a physical audit - I said 4:00pm on 6/would be fine -- no replyAfter that it was we need the check before we start anything - I never pay before work is completeI have never in m y life used colorful language when dealing with anyone - it gets you no where. I have all the correspondence and pictures if needed

Alex is going to review policy limits and decide on what next steps should be taken. Alex will be calling me back within an hour. 3/6/2017 8:53:23 AMPrivate Due to the nature of the insurance loss the customer only had $5,000 in coverage. The project manager Andy DeGroot informed the customer that we were reaching their policy limits and the customer decided to remediate the mold themselves. The following timestamped job notes were entered and copy and pasted into this email. ndrew De GrootCustomer signed a refusal of services/release of liability form due to mold being found and will be doing the demo themeselves. 3/6/2017 5:05:50 PMPrivate    Andrew De GrootCustomer is going to mitigate the mold found on the partition walls themeselves. I offered to have ServiceMaster mitigate the mold, but the cost would exceed their policy limits. Currently the policy limits are $5,000. Current water mitigation is $4,896.58 before scrubbers and adjuster exceptions. Carpet and contents are dry, all equipment (exept air scrubber) has been pulled. 3/6/2017 5:05:15 PMPrivate   Andrew De GrootArrived on-site. Perform atmospheric and moisture readings. Walls were still wet but since they have mold customers going to remediate the mold themselves. Carpeting was dry. So I remove all equipped.
