I was first asked to tighten up some loose paneling and install a formica countertopAlso to do some taping and floating drywall in a laundry room received half payment up front for labor and expensesWe replaced the countertop and had trouble getting the sink to stop leaking because she insisted on using an older model sink that was rusted on the bottomI spent about $in labor and materials trying to make it workWe were eventually successfulBut the bathroom with paneling couldn't be tightened up because it had become brittle and warpedShe then wanted sheetrock installedThat's an extra $that she believes I should swallow that we hadn't agreed to.In the middle of the job she asked if I could repair her fenceI told her I knew someone who could and hired him and a helperAfter she approved the work, I asked her for payment on the fence and she said she didn't have it, she gets paid her pension on the firstThat left me with angry unpaid workers for a week until she transferred some retirement moneyAfter the transfer she hired us to build two large dog yards and paid half up front of She also gave me for materials ,which I believe I paid to Bell Fence supply and then bought lumber and other materials and rented an auger to drill the holesShe had also contracted me to build a closet around her water heaterThen, after I spent over on materials, she calls and cancels the closet with no explanationWe drilled the holes for the posts and set the posts in cementI was paying to guys a day for daysThen it rained really hard and we had to wait a few days to stretch the mesh and she called me on a Saturday at about pm and left a voice mail saying she was putting the fence work on hold and wanted to finish her bathroomI have the voicemailI then didn't return her call because I was frustratedI had put a lot of work into her fence and paid all the labor money out to the workersJust when it got to the point I could make my money, she pulled outI have since contacted her via text and I tried to callShe wouldn't accept or even discuss my offer to finish the jobShe has since demanded via certified mail to be paid back for work I didI do not believe I owe her that
