Robe Shop Worldwide Reviews (6)

The regalia industry is not as simple as the way this is described There are different scenarios for student graduates and professors There are also companies that do not have a long regalia history that have repeatedly created different colors than the ones established in the academic codeOur manufacturer is the leader for American regalia for over years and we hold the academic code book here in our American plant, so we have checked and double-checked the colors and the ones we sent are correctThe student regalia provided by [redacted] departs from the colors and design in the academic code book purchased/rented by professors. In this case:1) Doctoral regalia rentals are usually for a professor, we were not provided the unusual info that this was for one of many graduates, not a faculty member2) We especially were not informed that any unusual design/colors was expected to be matched.3) [redacted] was not mentioned They use 3rd world sewing facilities and since we have had issues with their colors before (see above), we would have been hesitant had we known we were assumed to be a substitute for their products.Despite this, we are willing to go half way We can issue a credit for $51.18, if that is agreeable

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The regalia sent did not meet all codes for the specified school. I asked the representative if she needed any information for the school. She explained that she only needed the name of the school. I continued to explain that the reason I had chosen Robe Shop Worldwide was to offset the cost of paying [redacted] 285.00 for something I would only wear once.  The representative was fully aware that another manufacturer was involved.  She assured me that the regalia would be correct.  The items I received had to be opened to assure that they were correct. I did not wear them I just opened the package to inspect. Upon opening the package I realized that the regalia was not up to the school code.  I also took a picture before returning the garment (IMG_2302 and 00.JPG). The regalia should have looked like the following images (20150804_163115.jpg and IMG_2305.jpg). The paper work even stated that the hood was purple and copper.  The hood should have been purple and old gold.  I spoke to a representative at the school and described the regalia and I was told that did not meet the school codes and ended up having to purchase one that did.  Sincerely,[redacted]

Regalia sent met all codes for the specified school.  Customer wanted it to look exactly like regalia provided by another manufacturer.  As graduation products are not refundable this was not possible.  No exception could be made since the items had been opened and they

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]
