I have a bill from 2007. The office billed the wrong insurance company. At that time I had a different insurance carrier and a secondary insurance company through my wife. After five years and several phone calls trying to fix this problem they are again billing me and have added $70 in charges and turned it into collection. I still have three children using the practice and have never had an unpaid bill. Both insurance companies have always picked up the bills. Approx two years ago I spoke to a representative of Summerwood pediatrics and they finially contacted my proper insurance carrier and were told that it was to late. I was told that because it was there error that all would be dropped. Two days ago I recieved a letter from a collection agency about thius. Today I called the office and spoke to a person in billing. After her rude treatment I asked to speak to Doctor Draker or to have his voicemail to leave him a message as he is the owner of the business. I was denied this. Approx two years ago I was allowed to leave him a voicemail and when he returned my call he insisted that it was an office error and the bill would be discarded.
