I did respond back last night, but I feel I sent it to the wrong place as I did not use this form Vermont castings has been sold or times since the [redacted] 's bought their unitI have tried several times trying to get this thru I was told at point they were being shipped and coveredI do not make the warranty decisionsI just submit the infoThe person who told me that is no longer employed with the distributorWhen resubmitted again this last time I received a letter a copy of MHSC /VC stance on the bricksThey are deemed USEABLE with hairline cracksUnless you can turn a nickle on it's side in the crack they are fineAs soon as I was told that I phoned Mr [redacted] and also requested more pictures of the inside of the firebox and outside of the unit, per the companies request As of today I have not received those, but he did take the time to contact you Cracks can come from over firing and misuse of the unitThat is what the additional pictures are for to see if there is any other indications of thatMisuse wood be slamming or throwing wood into the firebox I not stating that is what he did , but that is a common consumer issue The final decision is not mine it is the manufacturersI have included te denial I just received , pictures, and the MHSC bulletin on cracks If the [redacted] 's feel there issue is more severe then they should take that up with MHSC /VCThe distributor sends it in the company and all units are logged by the serial #, so he wouldn't be able to go somewhere else and try and get it covered I am only a middle manI do not make the decisions on these issuesIt's an unfortunate time delay due to the company being bought out again in DecemberAt point they were not assuming any liabilities from the previous companySo I had to tell several unhappy customer's that their claims were not covered at all, with at least this one, they are stating this is only cosmetic at this point He also has to understand that if he tries to make the cracks bigger, that will be evident as well I have seen customer's try that as well.If you need any other info please do not hesitate to call Rita T [redacted]

I would like them to install the full chimney cover that fully covers the full crown of the chimney I was shown in their brochure and not the smaller round one that was installed The smaller round chimney cover is not even on the brochure they gave to me

company (Vermont Castings) was mailing us the new bricks to our house?
(pf course, they never showed)Also, if Vermont Castings was who we
were supposed to deal with, then why didn't she give us the company
contact information when we asked for it two different times?
Nonetheless, attached are three pictures of the fireplace and the
bricks. Rita had claimed most recently that the cracks had to fit a

did ask my husband if he would consider a delivery of the stove next week!!! Really???? Been trying to get it delivered almost a year. I'm glad this is over, not some place I would ever recommend to my friends. As a matter of fact I have friends who submitted a complaint to the Rochester Revdex.com. They are still waiting for their money back.  :(

Shed has been delivered. I am only a shed dealer all, deliveries go thru thru the Amish Builder, [redacted].

$1,550.00 were refunded to me. They still owe me $2,500! Both my credit card company and the local (Rochester) office of the NYS attorney general are also investigating. This same company has done the same thing to 2 other people I know! Regards,  [redacted]

Mr. [redacted] called in and...

stated he needed a quote for a chimney liner , that he was told by his roofer he needed one. Darren my husband went over to see him and quoted him for a 7" chimney liner & cap to be installed into a masonary chimney for a hot water heater & gas furnace.  7" is the required size for those 2 gas appliances. Mr. [redacted] told Darren also he was told he needed a chimney liner and he was getting estimates from several other people for the same. A brochure explaining about a chimney liner was given to him.  The picture on the brochure is a generalized picture that shows a dual liner system. When the liner was installed the chimney showed no evidence of water infiltration at all.  IT WAS BONE DRY WITH NO STAINS. The round cap is all that is needed for a single flue chimney along with the flashing that was installed on it. The metal roof  that was recently installed is more than likely his issue. It can be from improperly siliconed screws and cracks on the metal roof. Which is evident when looking at it. He called in to make a complaint, I explained to him more than likely it is where the roof meets the chimney and how it is sealed by the roofer. He said he would contact him. He called in a few weeks later and stated the roofer says his work is fine. Darren spoke to him and said that if that is the case then the only other thing that could be done is repointing of the chimney and a new crown put on. Darren gave him a ball park figure and he didn't want to pay for it.

Hello Rita,   After speaking with our acquiring bank they have confirmed the funds were returned to the cardholder's bank as a credit on the date of the chargeback. At this point the best option for the cardholder is to continue working with their bank, as this amount has exited Square and is uniquely with the cardholder's bank. Thank you, [redacted]

The consumer contacted the Revdex.com and stated he called his credit card company and they gave him the remainder of deposit back through Square account.
