Regards,

In Response to the complaint filed by [redacted] and [redacted]. Everything is under control. I have their replacement Door in my Shop. As I have had for a few weeks. I have been super super busy with work trying to keep up with the demand. I am a one man business. I have been working 6-7 Days a week...

for several weeks now many days 14-16 hours.  I have always had the intention of taking care of them as I do with all of my customers.  Now in addition, In an attempt to make best use of my time I try work work these things as I am in the area. They are 2-1/2 Hours away from me NE of [redacted]. They have a working shower with doors that work just fine. Now let me address the complaint about the doors leaking. First off these are Frameless 3/8" Think French style doors (2 Doors) There is no frame at the bottom. You can do your own research on Frameless shower doors and leakage. You will not find a Manufacturer that warranties a frameless door against leakage and I shared and explained that with the [redacted]s at the very onset of this project. In addition one thing that I always and I mean always tell potential customers is I am not a magician. I cannot keep water from running down hill. However If the Shower was built correctly there should be no issues. Meaning the threshold slopes in towards the shower. ( I did not build the shower)  Then I go onto explain "in the event that there is leakage I will do everything within my power to stop it or slow it down." Meaning I will use seals or a metal threshold along the bottom to do so.  You see .... When people say Frameless  They Mean as little metal as possible. Would you agree that is what Frameless is? That is the reason I rarely install these as well as the reason I rarely  install Door seals at the initial install unless instructed to after we have a discussion. Wouldn't you agree that a Plastic Poly Carbonate seal would tend to get ugly and nasty over time?  I even go as far to describe what is and is not a leak in a frameless shower door. If there is less water on the floor then when you get out of the shower to get a towel before drying off. That is not a leak. Now If there is enough water to pick up a bath matt and wring it out or it drips then there is an issue. and I say... I will do everything within my power to correct or stop the water from coming out. But, Once I have exhausted those possibilities. It is what it is. As I said previously, I do NOT Build shower stalls. I only install glass as they request it giving my suggestion as to what may or may not work best for their situation. I always discuss water leakage with my clients. I have been doing this for over 10 Years and have installed thousands of shower doors in this time frame. Everything from a basic slider door that is most common to the most complex and expensive doors you could ever imagine costing well over $10,000 in some case for one glass enclosure. I assure you everyone gets treated with the same respect and courtesy as the next individual.  I do not Advertise and I never have. In Fact, I work by word of mouth. That is how the [redacted]s came to know about me and my company as a referral from someone else. I have made contact with them and have an appointment set up for Wednesday the 17 Between 10-11 am. Remember: To have a good neighbor, You have to be a good neighbor.   Thank you,   [redacted] Tri-State Shower Doors Inc.
