Review: We had a very bad experience with [redacted] plumbing and Heating.

Owner [redacted] came out and visited us and presented himself as a reputable and experienced man in the business 35 years as a 3rd generation master plumber.

He verbally quoted us an amount based on the scope of the work.

My wife and I were securing other estimates but, felt comfortable with this man, his experience in the business but more importantly the price.

He called a day later and confirmed a price of $1510 to complete job, not including tax.

Based on that price and our budget we decided to go with him and his company.

On day work was performed we were given a contract/bill after the job was completed for a different amount.

It was for more than we had been quoted.

We contacted the company immediately and discussed this directly with Owner [redacted].

He handled our inquiry in regards to this very unprofessionally.

He became arrogant, belligerent, disrespectful and tried to bully my wife and I into paying the increased amount.

He had no justification as to how he was coming up with a higher amount than he had quoted.

He mentioned things that were never discussed and were not on the estimate or with in the scope scope of the work.

After leaving that same day and being forced into paying more, additional problems arose with the work he performed.

We spoke to [redacted] several times but, he refused to help us as customers in any way.

He denied having anything to do with any problems we were experiencing with our base board heating system.

He refused to come out and speak to us face to face to resolve this issue and address our concerns.

Our system had been operating fine for 4 years prior to his company simply installing a convection heating unit in a bedroom.

We had no problems with our system and since his company purged system.

He refused to address any of our concerns to date ignores all our phone calls.

Have to look to hire another plumber to solve problems he created.Desired Settlement: Come out and repair the system and put me back to where my heating system prior to his company doing work on it 11-21-2014.

I think it is fair and reasonable to ask him to come back at no charge to address this matter and correct situation.

As per another 3rd party independent Licensed Plumber, he determined that Carbone's workmanship is a direct result as to why the base board heat not functioning properly.

Mr. [redacted] refuses to resolve this situation and insists that it was nothing his crew did to cause this matter.

He refuses to address and looking to charge us again to come out to correct his mistakes.
