Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2015/06/29) */
This letter is to advise the Revdex.com that I, [redacted], owner of Robert Champagne Landscape, am in receipt of your correspondence regarding a complaint issued by *. [redacted], a resident who lives at 2895 W. Kensington Lane, Fresno, CA, located...

in the Stonebridge Gated Community.
I would like to provide information regarding the service that my company, Champagne Landscape, provides at the Stonebridge Community.
Champagne Landscape is contracted by the Stonebridge Homeowners' Association to maintain all irrigation and landscaping in all common areas of every unit, which includes only the front yard landscaping of each residence. My contract does not include maintaining any homeowner's personal pots or plants contained in said pots in their front or back yards.
The Stonebridge Homeowners' Association Landscape Committee governs all Landscaping issues, and requires a written request from each resident regarding all landscape changes and/or addition, which must be approved by the Landscape Committee before any work is done.
[redacted] has a crew of 12, including a supervisor on site 5 days a week at the Stonebridge Community. My supervisor, Alfredo Camarena, who has been a [redacted] employee for approximately 25 years, oversees all Stonebridge maintenance and reports back to me daily.
It is company policy that all calls placed to the Champagne Landscape office are to be documented on a daily call log and saved. All calls received from Ms.[redacted] are included in the Champagne's call logs.
In the Monday, June 1, 2015, Champagne call log, it is documented Ms. [redacted] left a message stating her big pot on her front porch had fallen over onto its side, & asked that someone from Champagne check it out. [redacted] called [redacted] the onsite supervisor and asked that he go to Ms. [redacted]'s residence to see what had happened. Alfredo found the reason Ms. [redacted]'s pot had fallen over was because the pot was particularly large and the plant (Cactus) was extremely top heavy.
The Champagne call log has four (4) other calls from Ms. [redacted] regarding her pot not six calls as stated in her complaint. Ms. [redacted]'s first call was on Monday, June 1, 2015. During each phone conversation with [redacted]'s office Ms. [redacted] was told her request would be put into our daily call log.
My company is contracted by the stonebridge Homeowners' Association, not by Ms. [redacted]. If the Homeowners' Association wishes to maintain the pots, I will do so; however, as of this date, I have not received any such requests from the Association.
Attached please find an email from [redacted] who is the Stonebridge Homeowners' Association Landscape Liaison. It is Stonebridge protocol that residents contact Mr. [redacted] to discuss any and all landscape concerns or issues they may have regarding their properties. The residents are directed by Mr. Gallego as to what necessary steps are to be followed in order to get approval by the Association's Landscape Committee.
The Association has their own rules and regulations regarding all landscape issues, which must be adhered to by all residents.
Attached, please find two sections of the Stonebridge Association's Landscaping Rules and Regulations provided by the Association's Liason, Mr. [redacted] regarding this particular situation. Please note Mr. [redacted] response below each regulation.
Approximately six years ago, Ms. [redacted] accused Champagne Landscaping of stealing one of her personal pots from her front yard. Ms [redacted] made this accusation without proof or validity to her claim. Due to the size and excessive weight of Ms. [redacted]'s pots, it was impossible for anyone to lift it or steal it as she claimed. When that incident occurred, I instructed my supervisor that no one was to ever touch any of her personal pots from that day forward. I feel Ms. [redacted]'s complaint is totally absurd, and this is her way of 'getting back' for the previous incident six years ago. I have done nothing wrong.
If you should have any questions regarding my response, please feel free to contact me at any time.
Thanking you in advance,
[redacted]
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 7, 2015/06/09) */
I have continued to wait for [redacted] to come, cut the cactus and reposition it in the huge pot. As of Mon 6-8-15 and talking to the mgr again today it still.was not done when I came home at 9pm. Consequently I cut the cactus, divided it into 3 pots and had a friend lift up the huge pot for it to be repositioned. After 8 days of laying on the ground the cactus was wilting, drying up and is valued at about $400.00. I believed what the company said 8 times in 8 days but they did not do it. Maybe they could compensate their error and use sod to cover holes they said they would handle in my front yard wks ago...still not done. Must be their style? No thanx...
